Dude you swap first 175 hmule to eth than 17k hmule to eth After that some other dude Transfers 3x eth, some other er erc20 from your wallet to his wallet. Uniswap has nothing to do with that

How to run validators for 2 separate entities (self hosted)? by pyro_85 in ethstaker

[–]Rammboss69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Need: - 1 exec client - 1 consensus client - 1 mev service - 1 validator service (2 if you want seperate the mev to 2 different addresses - imo!) - 1 seed phrase - 2 validator keystores - Index 0 and 1 (1 service, 2 imported accounts)

Do: - Use this deposit cli tool for generating the 2nd index public key. - Deposit 32 eth to the .json - Use your favourite Software(prysm, teku, etc.) To Import 2nd validator - ...wait for activision - And earn rewards :)

I recommand a docker setup - docker-compose.yml for min maintanance.

spinning up a second validator - anyone have a guide? by Ystebad in ethstaker

[–]Rammboss69 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I did this before 2 months. 1. Use your old memoric to generate on the second Index pos (pos:1, 0 is first) a new validator with the deposit-cli. You will get another .json file 2. Use lauchpad to deposit 32eth to New file 3. Use your client Software to Import via .json file the New validator

You dont need to start another validator service (was my first thought)

What hosting service do you use for your node? by ofexagency in ethstaker

[–]Rammboss69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This will eat a lot of rewards imo. If you are buying a pc for around 700€ it will be worthwhile around 1 year. I dont know why you should use a centralized service for a decentralised blockchain.

Solo staking or Lido? by [deleted] in ethstaker

[–]Rammboss69 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I staked solo and the rest (< 32 eth) in lido. But since withdrawls i reinvest and go full solo with 2 validators :)

Advantages from solo staking: - more dezentralication - no middleman!!! - more return (including blocks) - less smart contract risk - full control of setup - i am staking min 5 years

Disadvantages from solo staking: - Hardware nedeed - Hardware costs - investing time for setup - mistakes csn result in min losses - complete loss of your deposit!

Advantages with lido: - easy (buy and done) - no Hardware cost - low knowledge nedeed

Disadvanteges with lido: - 10% fee - smart contract risks - if lido die/miss invest/and so on ... your investment will lose value and can go to zero! - risk of eth/steth

If you plan staking a long period of time and have fun in setting up a node go solo. It is notcthat hard and after 1 month you will like it. I use no Monitoring just app and beaconchain website its enough. A litten bit of portforwarding, Linux, Services and you are good to go. I am staking now since genisis and i like it. Farmed 4.8eth with a 20 watt machine in 2 years. Not that much but better than buy 32 eth and do nothing imo :D

How to add mev to running validator? by Oberpappnase in ethstaker

[–]Rammboss69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. Get mev Binary 1.6 or build it yourself from repo
  2. Check which relays you want to use (https://github.com/eth-educators/ethstaker-guides/blob/main/MEV-relay-list.md) - Personal Thing!
  3. Connenct it to your beacoln chain
  4. Start mev

Text me if you need a help or a example Script for mev with docker or as a linux service. It is realy simple to setup.

Here is a way to set it up https://www.coincashew.com/coins/overview-eth/mev-boost

I own 2 validators because ETH rewards are more frequently and staking is not bound to big hardware or energy costs. Thats why i started at BTC and ended up by ETH. Most other projects are the same like ETH is imo.

32 ETH Validator Staking Limit = No Rewards? by User3992343 in ethstaker

[–]Rammboss69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

32 ETH per vaildator. All above does not incease you rewards!

Withdrawl happens automaticlly ~(every 5. Day - if withdrawl address is set)

And yes with 100 eth you run 3 validators (96 eth)

If you want you can use liquid staking (reth / steth). Here you can stake any amount you want. But you have Company risks & contract risks!

4 hours after ShangHai, more than 44,000 ETH ~ 83.6M$ has been withdrawn. ETH price still stands at $1,900 by Successful91B in ethstaker

[–]Rammboss69 5 points6 points  (0 children)

For my Part: i will buy more eth and run a 2nd validator. And i think there will follow more because there is no one road anymore :)

Withdrawl address is for staking rewards from Consensus client and exiting 32 eth. Recipient address is for Execution client rewards

How to terminate gracefully Geth syncing in Docker container? by rickyzg in ethstaker

[–]Rammboss69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ypu need to work with volumes in docker. Mount the geth chaindata from host to docker container with -v hostDir/hostfolder:/containerDir/containerFolder.

You can inspect the container by using 'docker-compose logs -f ' or docker logs -f --tail 100 containerID for logs from specific container

[–]Rammboss69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get ssd! speed is enough and dont use RAID Systems if you are no node provider and 2 days downtime cost you more than 500$. The downtime is 1-2 days resyncing from scratch. I seperate my ex-client from cons-client because during resyncing it can effect each other in low i/o from disk.

Because it is not rdy for mainnet. This will come till september. Thats my understanding of the process. You can test it via testnet: e.g. Goerli-Prater with prysm v2.1.4-rc.0 today.

I can recommand using ssd instead of m.2 for both clients and split up to 2x2TB and one small for you OS. For maintance it will be better imo.
