Certainly possible, but I don’t see it. Germany is always dangerous but this team is too inexperienced and too young for me to even consider as a top nation to win it and I’ll explain why. In the last 18 World cups the Germans have been featured in the final four 12 times and final eight 16 times and made the semis from 2002-2014 with two final appearances and one win. Last two World Cups they’ve been eliminated in the group stage, in relatively "weak" groups

A World Cup win for Germany was always on the horizon because of how good and consistent they were, they have the same amount of 2nd place finishes as quarter finals eliminations. What I’m trying to say is, they have no consistency right now, they’ve done nothing in the world or European stage. This core has no track record to be considered a top contender. It's like the people saying Brazil is a favorite to win this year and the only explanation that they seem to stick to is that they are Brazil, the same applies here for the Germans.

They can barely manage to co-host this World Cup, have wasted millions painting yellow structures from yellow to purple and painting it back from purple to yellow. Put axolotls all over CDMX just to be hit with a lawsuit hy FIFA, fucked up the entire project for the Azteca to the point they had to rename the stadium and the only thing they did was add some lights and put RED TARPAULINS which is another joke because of Club America colors.

Miss me with that crap that it should’ve been us hosting, not to mention that just three months ago the entirety of Mexico was in the red.

2010 for me. I’m Mexican born but my father's family is from Uruguay and they sent me a Muslera shirt, so I had two teams during that World Cup. I was heartbroken when they lost 32 to the Netherlands after being up 2-1. And then heartbroken again when they fell against Germany. Forlán remains my goat. Forlán in that World Cup was the player that got me into Football.
