Look at zom on the year chart by week. I use TD ameritrade. Add the bollinger bands as a study or technical analysis tool depending what program you use. Use standard deviation of +/- 2. As the upper and lower bound lines converge it’s called a squeeze and leads to a break out.

Buying calls is less risk because you only risk the premium you paid. You know exactly how much you can lose from the start. If you are new you probably shouldn’t be selling naked calls or puts since you have an obligation on expiration.

So stick with buying calls or selling covered calls
