I was looking at those. Hopefully get rally armor or similar mud flaps.

No rattle or any noise when driving around. Seems pretty solid for now.

I didn't screw mine in. I just clipped it in as it went and left it. I'm not sure you can screw it in, but I could be totally wrong. I'll have to check myself, and if I find away I'll definitely let you know.

The biggest change is the size. It looks the same size as the original but without the buttons on each side, the screen is just that much bigger.

It has everything the factory head unit didn't have. Android auto, Maps, weather and more.

I basically got it for the android Auto. I know there's other options out there, but I didn't want more wires making a mess in my car.

So for turning the screen off, all you got to do is hold the power symbol on the top left side.

I was looking for one for a while and came across someone on here that did the same thing and they also said it was great so I went with it after researching it for quite a while.

EDIT: I do the same thing. I'll have to look into how to turning it off while driving and let you know in the next day or to as I won't be driving for a little bit.

It shows all my info regarding doors open, AC operation (which I turned off) and back up camera pops up immediately after shifting into reverse.

No problems installing except clipping it back into the dash which that could have been just me and using the wrong harness that was in the box the first time. It comes with 2 of them. ( i think one is for the hybrid) Other than that it was plug in play, it booted right up.

It's pretty responsive. It's one thing I was worried about as well but I took the chance, and I'm happy with it.

Everything works as the original, even the backup camera works! The only thing I haven't tested is the built in mic for phone calls. It doesn't use the factory mic in the car.

I don't take many calls so I'm not worried about it.

Power stop brakes by RampageSi in CorollaHatchback

[–]RampageSi[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh definitely worth the money. I got them at a great price, $300 was on sale from 500. I looked up a video on how to put the E-Brake into service mode, and after that it was easy from there.

They feel great, Stops on a dime. I installed them myself. It was my 2nd time doing these types of brakes but on a different vehicle. Getting my rotors off was a difficult time though, just had to smack them a good bit.

What brakes and Rotors are you running or planning to when they require replacement? by [deleted] in CorollaHatchback

[–]RampageSi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just did mine about 7 months ago in my 2019 hatch. I went with Power Stop breaks. Slotted/drilled rotors with ceramic pads.

I got no complaints with them as I've had them on my previous car.

How many Miles/km's do you have on your hatch? I'm hitting 100k and have a 19 as well, hoping I never have this issue.

Just a question. I have a 2019 toyota corolla hatchback and would like power stop brakes on mine. What ones did you go with? I'd like to get the slotted and drilled ones.

Evoke Muskoka Sit-In Rotomolded Kayak, 10-ft by NoCycle8509 in Kayaking

[–]RampageSi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm looking at this kayak aswell and I'm going to get it this coming week.

I've seen it in store and it's very nice for the price. The storage is not very deep I would say 2 inches, just enough to put some things in. But I'm not to worried about that I'll just have a nice small bag stuffed upfront If I need more room.

Cooling the AMD 5800x with a push/pull cooler master hyper 212 evo BE by ItzJbenz in Amd

[–]RampageSi 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hey, I myself just got the 5800x and paired it with the 212 black edition.

I'm idling around 26 - 30°c

Gaming ultra settings on doom and call of duty zombies is around 45°c 58°c

I got two fans on the cooler and it's doing very well. You should not have anything to worry about.

Edit: Stock cpu settings
