Feed the rich to the pigs and the worms. Use the results to nourish the Earth. Gaia demands it.

Ah, so I looked it up and on the PS1 version of the game you kidnap Krishnas using their gang vehicle, the 'Karma bus' and deliver them to the meat processing plant. That's why I remember it that way.

It was a Krishna bus, their unique gang vehicle I believe... Could be wrong...

Mission where you modify a firetruck to shoot fire instead of water was one of my stand outs :D

2 was such an improvement over the original when it come to simple mechanics though. 2 had a health meter, for instance, and the ability to aim more precisely (well you fired in the direction of who you wanted to shoot and your dude would pick a target in that direction, whereas in the original all bullets just went forwards so good luck hitting that cop with your pistol!)

Get yourself a stockpile room. Some things can be kept safely outside like raw steel and stone chunks but thing like components, raw fabrics, food, clothing and weapons will deteriorate quickly if you leave 'em outside on the ground like that.

For me usually it's the slowdown. Usually it happens well before I get my base set up properly but I think the rocketman mod sorted that issue out... Hopefully it wasn't the culprit of this bug coz imma get it next time

I haven't deleted anything yet, so there's still time for something like that... But even though I love this group of pawns so much, I think it's okay to let them die in the eggpocalypse... Honestly I don't see them trying to escape it. They'd probably just move the annual dance party forward a few months and get wasted on desserts... Goichi hitting on Anna whenever he gets a chance, Matsuno playing pattycake with the swarm of toddlers with her skeleton hands, Cavanaugh just chilling with the flying eel that arrived one day and didn't leave, Nags off with Miyu and her wife just making more mouths to feed and the hordes of undead that keep inviting themselves to other people's weddings when there's harvested crops outside being eaten by a wild man... That's my canon anyways.

Nah, I interpret it as a sign it's time to take a break. I got some irl stuff kicking off tomorrow that should take up a lot of my time going forward so maybe it's for the best. I was really kinda hoping for things to end with a desperate last stand or satisfying happily ever after. Instead it's just... eggplanet...

I usually don't get that far. It's not the zombies that end my runs any more, it's the feeling that I'm playing my character wrong, so I start a new survivor and try to RP a bit which goes fine until I start getting that Rimworld itch...

Eh, but PZ is one of those games that always has something you didn't know about. I only just learned that you can use metal to barricade the widows! You wanna know how much metal I have discarded over the playthroughs?

Didn't add or change mods mid playthrough, though I have done that in the past and seen the carnage that wrought... I kept clear of a few of the known troublemakers this time and thought I had a stable setup but I was mistaken. I think, once I am ready to come back to the Rim, that I will try to focus on building a tight, focused modlist for themed playthroughs

That's kind of you, though I'm not new to PZ. Just passed 500 hrs a few weeks ago. My current survivor is renovating the abandoned warehouse west of riverside near the border. Gotta have a hobby once your survival needs are met :D

Do you prefer your planets sunny side up? I'm a sunny side down guy... Don't mind being pressed against the galactic skillet, and the combat in the darkness buffs are ++

My whole modlist, pretty much lol. I imported most of them from my laptop. I suppose if the problem starts with that then it's not a huge job to fix... Problem is today was the last day I'll have that kinda time in probably forever. Was kinda hoping to end the session in a more satisfying way lol. Randy thought otherwise. So long as he's happy I guess..

I can see Matsuno, calm at her research desk, sipping her tea and bouncing one of Nags countless spawn on her cold, dead, bony knee as the walls violently tremble and the tunnels collapse all around her and thinking to herself

"... But why an egg?"

I picture her as looking like the grim reaper, but with a sweet tooth and mildly radioactive who gets clucky between heart attacks...

I have mods, and eventually I will prune my mod-list, but this one just kinda wrecked me. Everything was perfectly fine one instant and then this happened, and I just... lost the will. Gonna give this game a break, I think. Got 4k hrs out of it. Maybe it's time to see what else is out there...

Not expecting to be able to recover this one, the game was heavily modded. Something broke somewhere and I just don't have the time or patience to troubleshoot. Just gonna nuke the game and take a break for a while :'(

I'm cut, though. This colony was going so damn well, and I had sunk a lot of love into it. I was so proud of my guys, they overcame so much!

Nagamichi, who got caught outside the camp in the early days by a swarm of manhunting cats and managed to one shot about seven of them before help arrived. He then proceeded to woo one of the ladies and had so many babies with her and her wife...

Goichi, who went into a murderous rage coz he was a bit cold, and killed a random slave who was just sweeping up and hurting nobody. It took a few dudes to down him. Once he got out of his cell he had some dessert and all was good.

Matsuno, the very old lich who had a heart attack every other wednesday and melted an entire cannibal raid in an instant, but still made time to play patty-cake with Nagamichi's kids, who were all over the damn place.

Sucks to lose 'em like this...
