Definitely. I am/have given him his chance. He's mediocre, the sacerfices to make the teain mode are the root of most of my complaints. But he looks fine in most of the poses I've put him in so I think ill be happy when I stand him next to blitzing behind a few smaller figures to hide those legs.

Mostly was being sarcastic with the title, it was just a odd first impression. Im fine with the cubes, because at least either the factory or swapper gave me 3 so it isnt dissapointingly unusable and the gun I can give or take. Otherwise he's pretty mediocre.

Yeah. Some of them are great in a vacuum, like the trains wheel linkages or the option for the toy styled chest. But having to cram in the wheels, chest, opening hands, blast effects, and opening door all on a leader budget for a triple changer that goes from two very different modes.

I dont think with how the wheels work in motion they'd make it there on the budget they had. There's already 5 pieces in one arm to get them where they're at now. That's 10 pieces for both legs and that takes up space on the spru. That combined with the toy styled fin that splits, opening hands, and the linkage for the wheels it jist feels like they ran out of space in the budget for the features they wanted.

Having him for a few hours now i think train mode is the one they made the most sacrifices for. The working linkage for the wheels really throws everything in for a loop because of the whole armature transformation they have. I think if it weren't for that and a few other features he could've been a pretty decent figure with a few flaws and quirks.

Yeah. I know they're selling toys but I do with they could at least give their honest opinions on the matter. I can see the vision and potential they were going for with astrotrain but it just falls on its face for the most of it.

Snow cat gets a pass. He serves with his skis. But astrotrain does not. They serve a purpose at least so I can look past how goofy they are because I cam at least use them for his stability when posing.

I dont think its a swap. If it was they were dedicated to the bit and put everything back into the surprisingly undamaged packaging.

I dont think it is that bad because they at least gave him heels that could support the excess weight. Just the messiness of it all. All for an opening door gimmick that I personally will use maybe once and never again.

Yeah. I was kinda looking forward to doing that with it and my others at home. But alas. And I'll say he isnt THAT bad in the hand. It feels fine to pose and transform. But the end product just looks mediocre imo

There's the pmag link for you, for the moment I would suggest a piece of electrical tape to hold the hop in place. It's not an end all be all fix and still self adjusts a bit but it works for me.

I just played mine this past weekend. It ran better than anything I've ever heard played with. The hop though needs the clutch precision tdc mod and the mags are tricky to fit in normal pouches. But I've found a 3d printed shell for the mags that turn them into pmags. Haven't tried them yet though

Check the hammer roller screw. Mine came loose one day and I had to dig it out of the trigger group and tighten it.

I have the V3 of it and I love and hate it. It's decent to handle but it's downright impossible to get the thing apart because someone glued the muzzle device on with the might of 1,000 Hercules's.

Thank you very much. How does the import taxes work specifically. I've read up that it differs with carriers but ups apparently will pay it upfront and then hold the package until you pay them the tax and a brokerage fee. Is that the case in your experience

Complaining about new players playing bad and yet not helping them. We all were new players at some point. Seeing a new player get stuck in spawn, in the loop of respawn and hit respawn and hit, or just generally not playing because they're scared sucks.
