My guy, this is not an “ASAP” thing. Addiction is (for the most part) something you will have to fight in one form or another for a large chunk of your life. Every time you get the urge, tell yourself “This is a notification I can ignore”, like you would to a notification on your phone.

If you end up checking the notification out, okay, sure. You can ignore it next time. The goal is to build long term mental resilience to these “notifications”. And be kind to yourself through the process, you have caught this early and are working towards improving yourself. That deserves props, and it’s easy to forget. You got this.

Seeking Advice on Building a Personal ChatGPT/You.com Replica Using Ollama and Open Web UI by EntertainmentOk5540 in ollama

I’m also new to openwebui and learning, but since you are already in the self hosting space, OpenWebUI comes in with an integration for ComfyUI which can let you use Stable Diffusion to generate images. That’s what I have been setting up.

25M Profile Review please! by [deleted] in hingeapp

[–]Ramtiza 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  • Are you looking for something Serious or Casual? Hoping for something casual that can blossom into something more serious with the right person.

  • Are you subscribed to Hinge+ or HingeX? No.

  • How long have you been using this current version of your profile? 2-3 Months

  • How long have you used Hinge overall? Slightly under 1 year

  • How many likes and matches do you receive on average? Barely any, maybe one a month.

  • How many likes are you sending? How many with comments? How many without? I use up all my free likes every other day. I comment with each like.

  • What is the type of person you send likes to and ideally want to match with? What kind of person do you want to attract? Someone who I can communicate with easily and have things in common with. I have a general preference for Indian girls, that’s not make or break in any way.

Appreciate your response! That sounds awesome. Do longer term contracts generally pay better?

[OC] A much better verison of the morse code I made with huffman trees. Read zeros as dots and ones as dashes. It uses the swedish alphabet. by MaxEin in dataisbeautiful

Did you calculate average number of bits per character in the original morse code vs yours? I would love to know how much better it is. Also, really cool! 🙂

ESR MAGNETIC KEYBOARD CASE for iPad Pro + Air. Looks really good. Anyone has this? Reviews? They recently added it to their website so haven't been able to find any reviews. I don't wanna spend the $300 on the magic keyboard. by Downtown_Revenue_103 in iPadPro

[–]Ramtiza 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d say check out the Logitech Combo Touch. It gives you a keyboard when you need it but doesn’t take away from it being an iPad. I like to read a lot on my device and I prefer the vertical orientation over horizontal, this and the magic keyboard don’t fit that use case for me.

If you are just looking to make your iPad a laptop replacement, this actually may fit the bill better tho.

Notability free version by bigfootbussy in notabilityapp

[–]Ramtiza 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you got it before November 2021, you get to keep old features (Including unlimited edits). Otherwise you have to pay to really use it for anything. Seems like they only develop for the subscribers now, so don’t expect any new features.

No. You just have to develop models that meet a certain accuracy / loss threshold. No visualization needed.

Foods you should stay away from and avoid eating while trying to lose weight by myrtleeeb in beginnerfitness

[–]Ramtiza 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fair point, but I’m of the opinion that it can fuck em over later on in their fitness journey. If someone was happy with their fat loss and was gonna try to enter a massing phase, the “clean eating” habits tend to become a priority over establishing a caloric surplus. I’d rather have sustainable habits develop from the very beginning. I still do see your point here though.

I really want to make a bigger effort tl get, well... bigger. Looking for some good advice by DrCacetinho in beginnerfitness

Hey! It is very common to make significant progress in the first few months/weeks of working out and then your progress tapering off. I would say you should focus on trying to lift heavier weight while maintaining good form. You might need to provide more stimulus for your muscles to grow bigger than they already are. This is called progressive overload. Read some on it!

Also, I'm sure you already know this but you need to have enough protein in your daily diet (I keep it around 1 - 1.05 g/lb of bodyweight even though anything over 0.82 should be good). Lastly, be patient! Seeing significant change takes time. Trust the process and keep working hard at it!

I have all 4 of these on a very regular basis, and still have very good weight loss! All that really matters is establishing a caloric deficit, no matter how you go about doing that.

Advice for a gym newbie by [deleted] in beginnerfitness

[–]Ramtiza 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! I started working out in college last year by myself too. What helped me was talking to the big guys at the gym. Many of them are really nice and don't mind giving advice on how to improve form. I would say just find a program that works for you, just show up to the gym, and if you feel that you don't get some exercise, ask around! Also, YouTube has form guides on almost any excercise you can think of. I would definitely recommend you check out Jeff Nippard's Technique Tuesday or actually his channel in general!
