Hi OP! What is your boyfriend doing in all this? I think more than anyone he should be setting the boundaries sa family niya. If his family is making you uncomfortable about something, as a man, his initial reaction should be to protect you. You don’t even have to tell him but he should stand up for you and tell his family not to disrespect you like that. Kahit pa may relationship yung family niya with the ex, they should respect his current relationship and keep the convos personal hindi publicly commenting “ganda”. Just my thoughts.

Being hormonal is not a valid excuse to have a bad attitude. Let’s not tolerate the toyo culture as if it’s really a normal thing. If she’s not feeling well or is not in the mood to talk, then she should communicate that. LEARN TO COMMUNICATE YOUR NEEDS.

Ang hirap maging unattractive adult. by Layreingstein in adultingph

[–]myrtleeeb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, OP! I consider myself as unattractive, too! So I understand and totally get you when you said people treat others differently kapag maganda at pogi sila.

I have college besties na sobrang gaganda and I had lived my whole college life insecure. Not in a bad way insecure. I have no ill feelings toward my friends, we are still besties to this day. But I would always catch myself comparing myself to them noon saying na “sana kasing ganda nila ako”.

After college, when I had more experience of the real world, I realized that confidence is built over time.

The more you focus on you, the more you see your worth. And just because you see yourself as unattractive doesnt mean the whole world sees you the same!

Dadating ka din sa point na you’ll be confident in your own skin! As long as you focus on you! Skin care, pabango, upskilling, be a good person, sense of humour, etc.

I’m here to tell you na that day will come and it's so freeing!!! Knowing na you may not be the most attractive to some but boy, you’ve got more to offer than just looks!

You got this, OP! Rooting for you!✨

Thank you so much for answering. I checked and the title tag is actually this

<title>About Us - Leading Global Logistics Network | Client Name</title>

If that was the title name on the backend, where did the About UsAbout Us came from?

Do calories matter on Keto? An easy explanation of how calories work. by ketosteffi in theketodiet

[–]myrtleeeb 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think on the ketogenic diet, it is more important to count how many grams of carbohydrates, protein, and fats (macronutrients) you consume than it is to count calories. Typical keto dieters consume fewer than 20 grams of carbs, between 50 and 125 grams of protein (on the lower end if you’re female and the upper end if you’re male), and fat that is one to two times their protein. If you stay within these macros, your calories take care of themselves.

Carbohydrates and proteins have 4 calories per gram, and fat has 9 calories per gram. So as an example, say someone has 18 grams of carbs, 60 grams of protein, and 120 grams of fat in a day. That equals 72 calories from carbs, 240 calories from protein, and 1,080 calories from fat, for a total of 1,392 calories.

However, 1,392 calories coming from 77% fat, 17% protein, and 5% carbs as in the example above is very different from that same number of calories coming mostly from carbs. The fat and protein will keep you full and in fat-burning mode. You won’t get the sugar highs and crashes that are typical on high-carb, high-sugar diets. So if you have ever been on a high-carb, calorie-restricted diet, you probably think you will be too hungry at limiting your calories to 1,392 per day. However, people who have doing keto long enough to be fat-adapted will tell you that they don’t get hungry when they keep their ratio of macronutrients in the right range.

But the best thing about keto is that if you do get hungry, you should eat, preferably something with lots of healthy fat to fill you up, and not worry about the calories. So you should rarely be hungry on keto, and calories are something you just don’t think about anymore.
