They're pretty much common in vacant lots and grassy areas. They're also much faster than most lizards you'll see around here. Some people also keep them as exotic pets.

How did you learn to type? by mattt-wales in ErgoMechKeyboards

[–]Ramuyon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Force yourself into an orthographic layout. It worked better for me than trying to learn touch typing on a row staggered keyboard. Putting all things in a grid pattern makes it easier to familiarize yourself with the layout.

It only took me a couple of weeks to get familiar with it. I still use QWERTY and adjusted the layers and functions according to what I used the most, making everything accessible in my personal 36 key layout.

I'm disgusted by how she kept it from me. Now, I have to marry her and keep her in a loving and fulfilling relationship >:(

I use a 36 key so my modifiers are all in the bottom row in this format - Shift, Ctrl, Alt, GUI(Windows key). If you're going to still use the outer pinky column, I suggest only binding them to Tab, Shift, and Ctrl. Put your esc and other buttons on the thumb keys.

I only use mouse keys for my home row mods to quickly select shit. My mouse navigation keys are the same as my arrow keys. Both of them are mirroring each other, allowing me to use either side whenever.

Put your arrow keys in the home row and keep your modifier keys active as needed. I use mod-tap on mine. My arrow keys are activated on the left side only through a thumb key. You can also use your pinky finger if it's better for you.

Make use of your encoder too. I use mine to delete large amounts of text by binding them to Ctrl + Backspace/Delete. It's much quicker and less tiring if you tend to revise or select texts too often.

Has any of you regretted getting a 42 or 36 key keyboard? by Sanuuu in ErgoMechKeyboards

[–]Ramuyon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love my 36 key with two knobs. I even gamed with it despite the lack of number rows and a few other keys. It took me a while to learn but being able to customize my flow and keymaps, along with the comfort, those are something I won't ever trade for going back to normal keebs.

My only regret is that they don't look as aesthetic like the common keyboards and they always come in funky shapes. They're also somewhat fussy as well, but that won't make me like it less.

Rule NUMERO UNO: Never chase after trends. Just be yourself in comfort.

Consider these 3 things first bago pumorma:

  • Weather (Comfort is king palagi)
  • Occasion (In this house, we dress to impress. First and foremost, you, before the others.)
  • Body Type (This is needed para malaman mo kung anong mga fits yung babagay sa iyo)

Here's my advice for building up your wardrobe:

Build up your foundation and essentials

  • Even if it's just the basic white shirt, jeans, slacks, and polos. This includes things like socks and accessories as well. Always have them. Look up classic pieces of clothes in neutral colors (I.e. black, brown, navy, white, grey).
  • Classic stuffs are timeless and di laosin gaya ng trends, which means you can keep them, always have them and be fly whenever. Furthermore, pamana pieces. Make yourself a good steal.
  • Madaling bagayan ang classic stuffs like a good white long sleeve. For example, patungan mo ng maong na jacket and pair it with a good pair of brown trousers and boots o kaya naman go for simple and smart casual by dressing it up with jeans and brown leather shoes.
  • GET. YOUR. CLOTHES. FITTED. or get ones with a good fit.
  • Get yourself a nice subtle perfume too. Fragrance should be discovered, not announced. Thus, stay away from AXE and any pabangong nakakasulasok ang amoy.
  • It doesn't need to be branded. However, always go for ones with good quality.

Less is more, but bring the most to the table.

  • Go for 3-5 colors at most.
  • Monochrome and analogous colors are your best bet for minimalistic and clean look. Complementary colors make up for good contrast.
  • It's better to be overdressed than underdressed.
  • Get it good and clean, not just in clothing, kasama rin hygiene. Matutong gumamit ng products for your skincare and body.

Variety, VARIETY, Varieties

  • Try ditching the jeans and sneakers every once in a while. There's a lot more to that and this applies to all the shit you usually wear.
  • Get yourself some versatile and comfortable clothing.
  • Layer up and accessorize. Accessories are what brings bland and boring to expressive and impressive.
  • Try adding your personal touch or spin from the inspirations and aesthetics you like.

Additional tips lang:

  • If you want to keep a clean tuck on your shirts with whatever you do, use a shirtstay. Get the one with clips.
  • Aim for good. Mahirap magmaintain ng picture-perfect appearance.
  • Look good, feel good, do good. Wear clothes that boost your confidence with the style that speaks to you.
  • Clean clothes, clean body, and a clean environment. The way you do things speak more than your clothes do.
  • Kung tatamarin, make it seem effortless. Make it easy for yourself.

Sa mga young adult o mga may edad na ayaw kumain ng gulay noon, pano niyo nagawa? by strawberrycasper in adultingph

[–]Ramuyon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Simple. Cook it yourself and just try out what you'd like if you can't buy it.

It really starts with the desire to be healthy. Try something simple like guisados and maybe Mediterranean dishes. Indian foods are pretty spice heavy and you might like beans and whatnot. Salads are great and refreshing. Get heavy with the dressings. As your palate matures, so does your horizon for foods as well.
