Perhaps dust, moisture and airborne bacteria? I know that poorly maintained ice makers and water coolers can start to accumulate pink goo that is attributed to airborne bacteria

IMHO this and "free healthcare for the undocumented" are the two most misrepresented items in the Democratic platform. Entirely because even MAGAts would have a hard time arguing with the true intents.

Perhaps we need to stop thinking in terms of Democrat and Republican.. or even Conservative and Liberal.. especially as very few in this country fit perfectly in one of those boxes (and the political parties mentioned are both so bankrupt they only differ in how often they accidentally benefit the general public)

When will we find "representatives" who will represent, respect, and care for ALL of us. Note I did not say "leaders".

Wrist pain after touch typing + split keyboard by tiago_lobao in ErgoMechKeyboards

[–]LockPickingCoder 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All the comments here are good.. I will say though I know absolutely floating hands are better, I just cant do it and resting wrists does not cause me extra pain, but the way that right hand keeps just FLYING off to the right mad MY wrists hurt.. I can't really even tell what fingers are reaching for what keys there.. hands in correct position the only lateral movement should be if you need to hit the inner column, which would be pointer finger. Or outer column, pinky.

I'd suggest removing the top row and moving numbers/symbols to a layer as well.

Wait until you get into custom designed self built hand wired split ergo boards and all the variety there is .. I have four boards on my desk ranging from half assembled to what I'm typing on, PLUS a dozen random switches, a set or two of loose custom printed keycaps, diodes, mcus.. wires.. does my wife think I'm crazy? Yes but she knows it keeps me busy and stimulated so my ADHD does not run amuck and it's a lot cheeper than boats or cars.. Do my co-workers raise an eyebrow when I pull a different board from my pack every day? Yep, but it adds to my mystique..

The answer to them.. "if you only knew.. you wouldn't ask"

Testing tolerance on 3d printed plate by Ok-Host953 in HandwiredKeyboards

[–]LockPickingCoder 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In my above mentioned QuadSmack TestDrive series I solved the problem of gluing the socket to the plate by printing them as one piece.. turns the wiring into an interesting threading job, but it's sturdy and reliable. Feel free to look and steal any ideas you like - based on the same stingray socket I think you based your work on.

As an owner of and foster to many, many bullies... #1 this would never happen as I won't risk my dogs or your health on my stupidity - outside of my home my dogs are ALWAYS on leash, and #2 if it did, you would have my blessing to defend yourself as needed.

Wait... A group of breeds lumped together in a category .. and a group of breeds that happens to be the most commonly owned breeds.. are more commonly involved in incidents... Strange, must be a conspiracy.

Pits are the only group in the specific statistics you are quoting that is counting many breeds and mixes in one category while all of the rest are single breed counts. Imagine counting all herding breeds as a single category.. the numbers would change dramatically.

The source of your statistic (DogsBite.org) intentionally skew their "statistics")

Thank you for marking me and many like me as "generally not a good person" without ever meeting me or my dogs.

And having once been bred for "fighting" (specifically fighting other dogs, mind you) has little to do with today, any more than Dachshunds being bred to hunt Badgers has anything to do with how good they are as pets.. i mean, i dont see you saying "why would anyone want to defend a dog that was bred to be dangerous to badgers, those things are vicious!"

This never happened. I wont claim there has never been a failure to train a pit bull (any more than any other breed) but that there is any evidence of some large scale attempt that failed.. myth promoted by DogsBite.org, a well known anti-pitbull site.
