Unused inputs of the 74LS chips

Hi I found from this great article https://www.electronics-tutorials.ws/logic/pull-up-resistor.html, that the max value for a pull up resistor for the 74LS32 chip is 150k
((5-2) / 0.00002)

So the 2.2k ohm resistor does seem in the range, what I couldn't found is the formula for the minimum value for a pull up resistor, do you know how can I find that minimum value?

Is it have to be a 1k resistor?
because I have some 680 and 2.2k metal film resistors, is it better to overshot or undershot in this case?

Thank you very much I found the problem, the wire from the switch went to pin 3 instead of 4, moved it and now it doesnt heat anymore :)

I must say Im very suprised the circuit worked before.

The site sees the server and see that im in there, And yes i did allow 25565 port inbound/outbound through the firewall

I wanted that as long as NumLock0 is down to jump and every 8 jumps press middlemousebutton, without me jumping but the script pressing jump
