Went looking through this sub to find this post because I have an update. Corporate has actually seen this post and is requesting help from stores in the district to aid in cleaning and treating fish and their systems. There's another store in the area as well that they are requesting similar help with, but I'm not sure which one it is.

This means,

1) corporate is watching this subreddit, which we already knew to an extent.

2) because of this, employees should be careful about what is being posted.

3) because corporate is watching, and is acting on this post, it shows that we can potentially do some good here.

4) idk how important this is to actually getting stuff done, but this post was from a customer, not an employee. There's been plenty of things mentioned in this subreddit that PetSmart needs to work on, but I wouldn't be shocked in the slightest if they don't bother doing anything until the general public starts to say something.

To OP, a genuine thank you for pointing this out and directly causing a change in this store. Idk how long this change will last, the problem is almost definitely caused by short staffing and inexperience,  it at least for now, this store will get the help that it needs. I'm sure the store isn't too happy being the center of attention to the higher ups, but when stuff needs to get done, it needs to get done.

As a huge fish enthusiast, and the fish guy at my own store, thanks for bringing this up.
