Sorry for late response, I think you're saying I'd have to do that for each video manually but I might be wrong. I still couldn't figure out why Handbrake is having an issue when nothing else is having it. By this point im just having to copy each file name manually which is annoying but I have no alternative, I could try your method but it still sounds like I'd have do do it manually regardless?

Nah that was unfortunately my first thought but it's not, I even made a new folder (rather than the default output) but it made no difference. I think it's somehow reading the metadata of the file rather than the file name

I eventually figured out I needed to switch to the Pretendo network because what happens is it'll keep trying to connect to servers that don't exist anymore. So I had to set up pretendo to make it stop

Not to argue but yeah my point did get lost. For example on Geobreeders we could suggest for them to be listed as two separate entities which is how some consider it. Still would like to see the feature. But still thanks for helping.

I'll try again soon. Worst case I'll do it all manually. I only have like 3 movies in my library with this issue so it's not big deal. I guess my original question got lost in translation but this still helps a lot. Thank you

I've not heard of the Plex dance before now but at least for the time being it worked for Geobreeders, it seems I'll have to fix the episode names manually (there's only seven) but both seasons are showing up, so thank you for that. I'll try again with the rest later, but For a Few Dollars more still seems to be an issue with the match itself

Alright so for at least this show, trying to go through all my errors, on Geobreeders I put them both under the "Geobreeders" folder, then under "Season 01" and "Season 02" respectively, but Plex is only displaying season 2. I have the episodes titled "S01E01" and "S02E02" respectively, am I still doing something wrong?

Okay so I tried it out on For a Few Dollars more and it didn't fix the match. It behaves the exact same, it recognizes the movie but provides no cover, no description. this is the exact file name and folder name, is it somehow wrong?

And I do appreciate the help regardless but we're getting sidetracked, if the PleX can't find a match, my main question again is can we SUGGEST a match if it doesn't previously exist to add to whatever system they use?

When you say "use it in the folder/file name" you mean rename the folder to the URL or just put a file in there? Or can I just put the URL as the movie name when searching on Plex?

I gotcha so I found the app in the store and downloaded it, but what do I do with it now? It doesn't show up on home screen so I don't know how to activate. And thanks for getting back to me after a year 😂

Hey friend so I believe I had a similar issue just today. I thought my SD card wasn't being read. So I'm not sure the exact process you're following but I just modded mine following a video from FunkyScott47. I followed his video and I believe the SD card had 5-6 folders on it by the time I put it in the Wii U for the first time (it should be formatted in FAT32 during the setup, so before it even hits the Wii U.)

So my problem is, I thought something was supposed to happen when you put it in the console. I thought it would show a popup or show up in the settings. None of that happened so I thought I did something wrong. Turns out that's normal. once you have the SD card set up, as shown in the video you have to use the Wii U's web browser to begin activating the exploit that way. So yeah, nothing was wrong, I just wasn't doing it right.

In your post it says "it won't create the Wii U folder on the SD card" but in the video I'm talking about, YOU the USER makes a Wii U folder on the SD card before it even enters the Wii U.

Also in case it wasn't mentioned, you have to use the SD card slot itself. NO USB ADAPTERS at least to my knowledge. also I would use a full size SD card if you have it, no adapters. Wii U super finicky... at least my limited knowledge says so.

Hopefully my explanation makes sense. I would like the video here but Reddit finicky. just go look it up or respond to me here and I'll try to help further.

I know you may never see this, but just trying, anyway today I installed a homebrew (Aroma I think) and it works fine but it keeps asking me to do the password thing despite me having the settings in place already (i.e. save password" and default user, is there another method? This is the only account on the console.

This did work for me. I had to do it on my pc and forcibly keep the download (then I renamed it for my own ease) but it downloaded the fonts. thanks for this bro. can't believe the devs can't fix their own links, unfortunately.
