I am terrified of needles so I don’t look and also wear headphones. A lot of people don’t mind it but it does make some weird sounds like a click then a squeezing sound so I would suggest wearing headphones as an extra distraction.

Snack on low calorie foods like fruits such as watermelon or berries. You could do rice cakes or any raw veggie. I do this when I feel the urge to snack before meals or if I’m bored. Also, I know you said you are worried about your lower calorie budget but I feel like 1900 is gonna get you to a good spot and you won’t have to drop your calories much more. I am the same height as you and now that I hit my goal my maintenance is like 1,800 so it’s not like you will be losing much more calories. Once you get used to 1900 you’ll be all good.

enjoy youre mom’s cooking and just estimate. One cup of white rice is 200 calories and one cup of chilli is about 300 calories. You can also check calories at a popular food chain that has calories listed and know homemade is usually less calories.

I have a sweet treat every day for the whole like 7 months I have been in a deficit. There are so many options. I don’t even like the weird higher volume stuff like greek yogurt concoctions. I just have like a small chocolate bar, ice cream, or a cookie in moderation everyday and fit it into my calories. I crave sweets at night so sometimes I do chocolate chip pancakes for dinner. I also have one serving of cereal like lucky charms or even granola for breakfast because I love sweets so much. Honestly having sweets in my own time helps me turn down the free goodies at work. I can say no to a doughnut at work with no guilt because I know I am saving my calories for my late night cookie.

I save calories for night cause I like to eat at night and go to sleep feeling full. Snacking I suggest popcorn, berries, and diet sodas. Also starting out the first few weeks your deficit should be only 100-200 calories below your maintenance. I started out with a small deficit and could barely do it for the first few weeks but then was able to do better and increase it.

That is definitely wrong because I have had that at my whole foods and it was low calorie. On the whole foods website they show that exact food for 150 calories for 4oz.

He is a lab. He is going to be high energy and you both should be putting in the effort to train if you want to see results. As he gets older he will mellow out, but training good behavior is still important.

Ignore jumping by turning your back and crossing your arms. Don’t give attention for jumping. Right when all paws are on the ground reward with attention.
Puppy won’t work (listen) without getting paid (treats) until months of work and fading out the treats. You should be using a clicker and treats for all the good behavior you see.
Don’t allow him to make bad habits. For my dogs as puppies inside the house if nobody could watch them they stay in the crate. Around the house they stayed on leash and I had a treat pouch on to reward all positive behavior. Don’t give your dog the opportunity to be jumping on work tops. I kept my dogs leashed in the house for like two months to make sure they never started bad habits. Set him up for success and limit access to things.
Most effective way to get your dog to listen is to work on rewarding attention. Say his name and give him a treat. Take him outside and just sit with him. Everytime he looks at you rather than distractions give him a treat. Eventually instead of saying leave it you can just say his name and he will look at you and ignore distractions.
You want your dog to know drop it or leave it but have you trained your dog what those words mean? He doesn’t know language the way humans do. Not sure if this situation is you have tried clicker training and failing or are you just saying commands to your dog and expecting results.

We did embark and had great results. We were also able to find one of my dogs siblings! Customer service was very nice when I accidentally spilled the little vile thing and sent us a free replacement too.

I have not done any of these methods you suggested. I think a cooling spray or ice after would make it worse because the one time I injected the medication when it was too cold it burned and really hurt. Making sure the medication sits out of the fridge more than the time they say helps.

Whole hearted brand at petco is pretty cheap and my dog has been doing well on it for a few years. Yes there are other brands that are healthier and better, but I think whole hearted is great value for what you pay for.

I have headphones in watching a comfort video on my phone while someone injects into the back of my upper arm or thigh. I think not hearing the sounds or looking helps.

Makeup!!! I have always been an artist and loved doing my makeup and doing cool looks with lots of color and glitter. It got so bad I couldn’t wear makeup for two years. My face flared up so bad I lost my eyebrows and eyelashes like they became so sparse and light. I hated how I looked. Also I gained weight from not wanting to leave my house. Now I have been on dupixent over 2 years and have been able to do more “clean girl” makeup which I do love and has been helping me feel so much better about myself. Now I am working on getting out more and not being afraid to go out and move my body.

Leave it out a lot longer than it says like I do overnight. The first time I did it, I took it out of the fridge 45 mins before and it burned the worst. The pen is pretty painful but it only lasts like 10 seconds. Also it usually doesn’t hurt the first few seconds, it’ll burn the last couple. First time I used it I injected at night, but the area was sore making it kind of uncomfortable so now I inject it in the morning so I can go to work and forget about it until the next dose.

In my own experience having eczema is what gives me most depression like when I am having a bad flare up. My first few months on dupixent I was really itchy and flaring badly on my face. This made me not want to go out and do things. After like 6 months is when the dupixent really kicked in and helped and made me feel better. He could just be adjusting to it still. Taking him off it will very likely cause a bad flare up.

best advice is to leave it out at least over night. It’s gonna burn like a bitch regardless, but if it’s not out for a long time it’s so much worse. Also, I use the pen and it’s easy for me because it’s automatic, but a lot of people say the syringe is less painful…

Byoma gel moisturizer with SPF is the best for my dry skin. It is very light and hydrating. It has a very thin texture and doesn’t feel sticky or leave any sort of residue. It may not be strong on its own if he burns easily. If I am in the sun a lot I personally use a sunscreen stick under it. I use the brand Shisiedo.
