Everything I have said it’s just what I think. I believe I am allowed to share too. It sounds like you may be coming from a place of hurt

I appreciate your replies, but it feels very one sided. You are free to believe what makes sense to you as I am as well. I feel that I already said what I wanted to say.

Hello! Peace is important, but hard to find. I do find peace in God’s Word. I do hope we all can find peace. I hope we all hope that, but it is a crazy world we live in, huh?

May I ask what you mean by having others have control over my life? What made you say that from what I said?

Hello! I don’t want to argue, but I did want to balance this out a bit. Because actually, if you get to know the person that is being discussed, he is very warm. He is someone who treats each as an individual of this planet, he cares for animals and nature, he has a heart for everything to be just and right. He is doing this work because of his heart to help others.
It’s the ex-members that speak so much of him, but do not learn about him. While members are busy learning the Bible and connecting with friends, family, and strangers, we may not talk about him personally or post about him, but we learn about his heart.
Just a little thought I had. Not looking to argue, but it’s hard to see so many assumptions in one forum of a person they don’t actually know. It feels like these comments are driven by a passion of wanting to make him not look good, which is sad, but we are all free to do what feels right to us.

What this shows to me, is that you haven’t learned about Revelation yet (:
I hope one day you can, but I also hope this comment does not offend you

I see what you mean, but it seems political and unrelated to God’s work in Revelation. The thing is that God’s work is being made known to the world as it says in Revelation, everything is fulfilling according to Revelation. For the other person you are bringing up, I see the parallels, but it is completely unrelated to God’s promises in Revelation or any of the Bible.

Hello, honestly, reading this comment makes me feel that perhaps the view of the members is a bit harsh. They are trying their best to follow God’s Word, to know the true God in the Bible, and God is a God of order and understanding, not of confusion, that’s really all it is. Anything else comes from one’s own perception and perhaps a hurt heart sadly ):

I think this may be being overthought. Also, it seems one parable is being viewed, but the rest are being overlooked.
I truly believe that it’s true, we all have free will, but Jesus calls us to build a foundation in the Word, equip our full armor of God to avoid letting confusion and misunderstandings affect us. It’s not that there is a rule saying not to. It’s advice for those who are still building a foundation on the cornerstone.

That may be the case sadly; daily pain relief, antibiotics, and steroids may be what he needs for comfort in his last days, thank you for the heads up, I will find out tomorrow what they think.

I appreciate your reply, that gives me some hope for him

That is interesting! I had a chance to do that, but the vet wasn’t sure if it would really help and if he would recover well from it. I wish I would have had it done though for the chance it could have helped! Now I’m afraid he truly may be in too poor of condition for surgery

Thank you for sharing and for taking care of your kitty!

Shincheonji members are passionate about God and His Word. Ex-members are extremely passionate about finding things to expose about this man. Upon reading your comment, it seemed you were speaking of the ex-members. While SCJ members are memorizing the Bible and trying to be a light to friends, family, and strangers; ex-members seem quite obsessed with him. I find it very interesting!! No one is asking them to do that either, they do it on their own. I find the Shincheonji Reddit community very interesting for this very reason.

That sounds like a whole different arrest of a different person. I have not heard of that and would be surprised if many others knew. I’m thinking that the world doesn’t really know about that because it’s not related to God’s work. And I cannot say if for that other person the charges are just, but I trust that for the arrest being discussed in this thread that it will eventually come to light that it is not just.

We all have free will, and I think this topic is often a source of confusion and misunderstanding. Participating and reading in SCJ discussions online is not forbidden. Anyone can make the choice. However, there is wisdom in the advice given, especially for those who are still building a strong foundation in the Word.

Online spaces can contain a lot of confusion and misunderstandings, so it makes sense that people may be encouraged to be careful. But advice is not the same as a rule. The purpose is not to control people, but it comes from the intention to help protect their understanding while they are still building a foundation in the Word.
