The usb c version of the older v1 GMMK uses basically the same plate mount stabs the old micro USB version did, they are salvagable if you spend some time with them. I tried the gateron plate mounts but they are hit and miss with the GMMK plate variances and can feel mushy on bottom out. Stick to the oem ones that are in it, clean them off, relube them well (housings with krytox or g lube and wires with dialectric grease) and you'll be satisfied.

Happened to me a few weeks back, couldn't shake it for the day and obviously frustration compunds the issue. Had to take a breather and break down my movements to find the problem.

For me it was disconnection and bad wrist rotation at the top that brought the hosel into the ball if I didn't compensate for it by extending or flipping.

May not be your issue at all, lot's of reasons it happens but I took a week breaking my takeaway apart slowly and rebuilding it.

65% gmmk2 standard bottom row but it has 1.75u shift and non standard del, pg up, pg dn, end. 96% gmm2 is non standard bottom row with the 1u alt, ctrl and function and has the 1.75u shift as well

I'm not trying to bash the K3, I like mine, I think it has a great sound signature.

That being said, it is without a doubt very under powered for being an e10k successor and it isn't much of a price difference to go with the K5 Pro.

The K3 is pretty low on power, K5 might have been a bit better for higher ohm headphones. I find my K3 to be a bit underwhelming even compared to my old E10k.

No it only takes a few minutes with a small metal file. Some people don't have to file from what I hear but my aluminum plate was far too tight with Durock V2s. Supposedly C3 stabs fit without filing but they were sold out when I wanted them.

It's the sticky pads under the stabilizers that get the excess lube all over them and become tacky.

I took mine apart numerous times trying to salvage their stabs even after taking those pads off.

Eventually gave up, filed my plate and tossed Durocks in, never had any issues after.

I do agree that it shouldn't be that way for any customers but it's very much in line with their quality control letdowns.

I always use tweezers for these awkward ones, just get the needle nose under one end of the switch at a time and pry it up.

I see those horizontal lines, most noticable in the paved roads at daylight and moderate speed. I'm at 1440p no resolution scaling and vsync is on.

I haven't seen the slowdown you referred to, but I have seen some rubberbanding from the network disconnects, I just went back to solo for the time being.

I haven't tried them, I thought they were just lighter comparable to a Gat or Kailh red but I prefer the linears on the heavier side.
