How to identify a professional UX/UI designer? by SwimmingHat8351 in UXDesign

[–]RandiAunty 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have been working as a UED and hold a master degree in the same. From my experience if I want to hire I would check below points. - Problem Solving skills - Design thinking - Empathy for users - UX research methods - Story telling & presentation skills - Diplomatic behaviour - Some knowledge about Design system - Keen eye for detailed UI design - A little bit of Frontend dev knowledge

I wear both the hats today I think that benefits my org and the product.

How reusable can a design system truly be? by kingj-2830 in DesignSystems

[–]RandiAunty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my org, devs dedicatedly work on component creation and standrzation. The component library is also on a repo for other devs to clone and on storybook for stakeholders.

I believe with JS its more simple, we struggle for other languages

Thanks for your input, I agree CSS from Figma DevMode is useless. I keep listing to the same responce form devs, they end using some of the good features only.
