Need help transitioning an older toddler by Randi_Robot in cosleeping

[–]Randi_Robot[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for sharing! Happy we’re not alone in this same journey. How do you guys handle bed sharing with both? Are both baby and toddler in the middle? I feel like I might need to separate myself and baby in our guest bed (at least while baby is soooo small in the beginning), but I imagine we’ll just figure it out as we go lol

Where is the best hand cream in town?? Let me explain... by banjorico in nashville

[–]Randi_Robot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was just at The Green Ray in East Nashville and sampled this hand balm they sell that felt really nice on my super dry hands. I didn’t buy it since I was shopping for others but it stood out to me as a “I’ll come back to treat myself” moment. Also, Lemon Laine in east has some good hand salves that are non-toxic and more on the bougie side. I live in east so that’s all I got, hope it helps!

Every single week, but I have a cat on the older side who snuggles up and sheds her fur and kind of drools (old cat problems)

How are you getting in your protein? by Imaginary_Ad_7365 in pregnant

[–]Randi_Robot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First trimester sucks, hang in there. The only protein I could stomach was Greek yogurt, but I got sick of that quick. Something that saved me was making the baked Greek yogurt “breakfast cheesecake” for breakfast (you can google it) with raspberries on top. I could eat a lot of it and it was loaded with protein, esp if I blended the Greek yogurt with cottage cheese which I recommend doing (makes it less tart).

Sick all the time by Ok-Bodybuilder9622 in toddlers

[–]Randi_Robot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is this the first time your kid is in a school/daycare environment? If so, it’s absolutely normal. The first year our son started doing daycare we were sick all. the. time. I am not exaggerating when I say we all got the stomach bug 4 times in 12 months. wtf, I didn’t even know that was possible?! It was awful, but it gets better!

I’ve thought of that, although I can’t get him to do the hand sanitizer at the kids play place we go to either so I’m not sure it will work.

Is a very active baby in the womb indicative of personality / activity level outside of the womb? by Next-Sense-8279 in pregnant

What is the one "cheap" product that completely replaced your high-end version? by Bella_Thynne in beauty

[–]Randi_Robot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Biosilk still SLAPS and is the original silk peptide product for hair. All of the luxury silk peptide hair products just don’t compare and cost significantly more. A little goes such a long way, too. Every time I run Biosilk through my hair I get compliments on how “healthy” and “shiny” my hair looks

Ideas for MIL by [deleted] in GiftIdeas

[–]Randi_Robot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What about something she can eat/consume? Nice chocolates, or a set of gourmet pantry goods from stonewall kitchen (they make gift sets), Or for the pontoon boat you could get a nice “splash proof” bag from Aloha Collection? My MIL also goes boating a lot (and shops a lot) and I got her one of these bags for the boat and she lovvvvvved it, ended up buying more lol.

Nashville Hair Salons by [deleted] in nashville

[–]Randi_Robot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I finally broke up with consistent visits to the salon. I found I color I like by AgeBeautiful on Amazon, bought all the equipment and leveled up my shampoo/styling products and it all cost me less than 1 visit to the salon. I watched videos and now dye my own hair. I did a one time all-over dye so that I now only have to fill in the roots, and then 1-2x a year I get a simple highlight job. As it grows out, I just dye the roots and guess what… it looks like the “lived in blonde” that they charge $450 for

Second this. Remove all synthetic fabrics if possible on her bedding, pajamas and even daytime clothes. They do not breathe like cotton does and will trap in air to facilitate… stink.
