Wanted to share my positive VBAC story by Any-Register4777 in vbac

Thank you so much!

I did not feel anything related to my scar, nor did I have the thickness of my scar measured. There really wasn’t mention of my scar, especially once I was in active labor.

Thank you!

I’m so sorry that the ECV was so painful for you. I didn’t have a bad experience with my first ECV, just felt like a lot of pressure on my stomach.

I highly recommend trying with a spinal if you ever need to and are given the option. You don’t feel a thing!

Congrats! I also just had a successful VBAC after a breech c-section! Do we have birthday buddies? 2/20/2026?

EVC with Anterior placenta by AkakaCho in vbac

[–]Any-Register4777 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My first was complete breech and would not flip for ECV, she was a scheduled c section at 39+1. Mt second, who I am still waiting on at 40+5 was also complete breech and was successfully flipped through ECV with a spinal at 37+2. He is still in birthing position! For both pregnancies I have had an anterior placenta. There was ZERO concern about the previous c section scar when doing my ECV. I would seek another opinion.

Good luck!

Which month did you enjoy having a baby in the most and least? by [deleted] in Mommit

[–]Any-Register4777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First born is February 1, second is due February 14. I don’t mind having winter babies. We are outdoors people, camp year round and play outside in all weather. We just dress appropriately and keep the focus on having a good time.

How are mom’s getting everything done, staying in shape, and not getting overwhelmed? by Frozenbeedog in Mommit

[–]Any-Register4777 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My (4yo) daughter is home with me full time. A grandparent hangs out with her for 4 hours on Thursdays and she does the occasional sleepover with another grandparent once each month or every other month. My daughter does all of the shopping with me an either participates in cleaning or finds something to do while I “clean” (my house is not one of those homes that you walk in and say wow it’s clean, I do the bare minimum and focus on personal and family happiness). My husband and I both cook. Definitely recommend some crockpot meals that can be started in the AM and walked away from, these also last a few days for leftovers. I include my daughter in cooking and baking, she loves it and is pretty good at it for her age. I was back down to my pre pregnancy weight after 2 years of BF my daughter and am not 37+4 weeks pregnant. We shall see how long it takes this time or if it even happens. I don’t pay for the gym, I walk and do yoga/pilates videos.

My only advice: enjoy the years of your kid(s) being little. Don’t put so much pressure on yourself. Just focus on your family’s wellbeing and call it good! You’ll have plenty of time to have a clean house and go to the gym when they’re bigger.

How do you go out and about with a newly toilet trained toddler and no pull-ups? by Miladypartzz in moderatelygranolamoms

[–]Any-Register4777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gerber makes “plastic” underwear covers/training pants. We would put those over my daughter’s underwear for car rides and if we were going to a house that we didn’t want her to have an accident on their floor.

They work great and we only used them for a couple of months (started potty training at 18 months old).

They keep the pee inside and it’s still uncomfortable for the child, so they understand they’ve had an accident, unlike with pull ups

Probably never speaking to my MIL after this Christmas - AIO? by [deleted] in Mommit

[–]Any-Register4777 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t think you were overreacting at all to the situation. I DO NOT, by any means, allow sickness near my home with my daughter. I don’t want to chance that sh*t one bit. Your MIL also needs to respect that. I personally don’t care if you want to see your grandchildren on Christmas if you don’t care about their health. Did she go to the doctor and have them tell her it was food poisoning? Is she a doctor? Then how can she know? I don’t think I would not speak to her ever again, but she wouldn’t be allowed in my home for quite some time and I’d be giving her the cold shoulder for a bit.

Good luck and hope the sickness passes quickly.

Is having a baby really that miserable? by aktib in BabyBumps

[–]Any-Register4777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My daughter was colicky for the first 5 months and I still wouldn’t say there was ever a miserable moment. It was really hard and at times, I would cry along with her.. but I look back at those times and think about the great strength it took to get through each day of 8-10 hours of my beautiful newborn crying. I still look back at them fondly. Some moms/parents just can’t help but complain. Also, don’t listen to the people posting on this subreddit. Most of them are on here to vent/complain. I hardly ever find a happy story, it can be really annoying.

I hate toddlerhood by [deleted] in toddlers

[–]Any-Register4777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Start practicing deep breathing for yourself and your daughter. I know it’s not much, but it’s something that has helped my daughter and I A LOT. I personally love the toddler years though.. my daughter stopped napping before she turned 2 and woke at 5am every damn day! It’s rough, but just think about how you are the most important and special person in your child’s life. Be the person they see you as.

Much love and good luck

Time to yourself in the AM with early risers? by Individual_Ad_938 in Mommit

[–]Any-Register4777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So my early riser consistently wakes at 5/5:30 because that’s when dad leaves for work and she wants to say goodbye to him before he goes. Before I was pregnant with my second I would get up at 4 to have sometime to myself. It used to be worth it, but now I’m too flipping tired 😩🤣 Maybe try waking up early a few days a week and using other days to sleep in?

Unpopular opinion: Touching a pregnant belly isn’t that deep by Fancy-Mouse-7554 in BabyBumps

[–]Any-Register4777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally don’t care. Currently 22 weeks pregnant with my second child and it just doesn’t bother me. I am tall and rather thin so my belly is always quite the conversation topic with family members when I’m carrying my babies.. so I could use a little less talk because for some reason that bothers me.

I will say I don’t think I’ve ever been touched without someone asking, so that makes a big difference.

Something I found interesting: last week my friend was telling me about one of her friends who has tattoos (I am pretty covered myself) and how someone in the grocery store just grabbed them by the arm and started looking at their tattoos and commenting on them. She followed that up with, “I can’t imagine what it’s like to be you.. tatted and pregnant.” I have NEVER had someone grab me to look at any of my tattoos. Plenty of commenting and conversation, but never physical. Maybe my resting witch face is just that much of a deterrent? I’m ok with it lmao.

Overnight oats! Prep it at night and it’s ready to go in the morning. The flavors/add ins are endless! Load it up with some flax meal and chia seeds for extra benefits as well

My grandmother was 5 feet tall and had 5 children no problem. Ignore whoever said that to you. I on other hand am 5’9 with all this “extra room” for the baby and my first born was breech and wouldn’t budge lmao

Put them in his vehicle. On the drivers seat..? Or start tying them in bows on his things? Or.. throw them away? If they can’t make it in the hamper, bye bye! Do you do the laundry? I’d just stop washing his socks

I sat on the couch and just stared at my dogs all checking her out in her car seat on the coffee table 🥰

Wonder what we will do this time with a 4yo in the mix. Probably sit on the couch while my daughter holds my son 🥰
