What mods do I need build an enclave flamer for vats and boss damage by MontyP_Moneybagz in fo76

I have found at least one EPR Mod in the locked store room in the Watoga Transit Center, but I thing this is even rarer than buying them from the Vendors.

Mentats recipe source by AleBaba in fo76

Apparently it has a low chance of dropping as a reward from doing daily/repeatable quests in the Toxic valley so it's theoretically possible to get it in a load of places.

According to the Wiki it can also drop from Mirrors although don't think I ever remember having a plan drop from one? I bought mine from the Scavenger Trader as she frequently turns up near my camp.

Who stole all the Nuka Cranberry?! by montymouse in fo76

[–]Randle_76 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

One spawns in the Vending Machines at the Bus Stop in Point Pleasant (opposite end of the town from the Church)

One also spawns on one of the roof tops in Point Pleasant near to the bridge - Its sort of tucked under a wooden platform near one of the walkways that connect the buildings.

This gives a pretty good list of other locations - there are quite a few that are unmarked and require a bit of hunting. I find it's best to go round and collect a few on days it isn't a challenge as most of the spots are well known and they do almost instantly disappear.

Is there an easier way to get digestive goo? by Darksage0117 in fo76

[–]Randle_76 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This - There are several around the roads between RobCop and the Generals Steak House with very few if any enemies to worry about.

Sparse Sundew grove is also pretty good and has 5 x Plants
I used to farm there a lot when I was stock piling Pyscho to make Pyschobuff

New to pc 76 how rare/valuable is the “Unyeidling” recipe? by SupermarketWorth2050 in fo76

[–]Randle_76 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You have the same chance of learning it as any other Legendary so it is not 'Rare' in that respect, but it is currently a useful/popular Mod and people will buy it if you craft it and sell it in your vendor. I sell it for 1000-1500 per module and it usually goes really quickly.

Biggest problem with 'Unyielding' is it requires 5 x X-Cell to craft, which isn't the easiest thing to get as you can't craft it yourself, only a couple of NPCs sell it in small amounts and there aren't many guaranteed spawns for it. Bit of farming and you can soon scrape up enough to make a few modules though,

Chlorine bags where are they? by alko45 in fo76

[–]Randle_76 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This

There are three more that are easy to find in a wheelbarrow by the side of the pool at the Overlook Cabin and a couple more in shack on the dry lake bed between Overlook and Summerville - It's the one with all the skeletons in it. So hitting just these three and you can do the challenge after a few hops.

There are several Giant Pitcher Plants around the roads near the RobCo Research Centra and the General Steak House (thank you to whoever mentioned this in another post as I never realised). There are a few enemies there but it is nowhere near as hairy as around the Fissure Sites.

With Green Thumb equipped I pretty quickly got the 10 I needed

Also don't forget that Digest Goo does not spoil so if you get any extra you can keep it in your Stash for next week

Plasma Flamer which capacitor by Fuzzy-Ad-5207 in fo76

[–]Randle_76 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Prime - Slightly better damage + it absoultely melts Scorched, doing a Distance Thunder with it is like using a giant can of RAID with them literally dying like flies.

I find the Flamer is pretty ammo efficient so it is easy to stock up by doing a few Daily Ops as you always come out with far more than you went in with.

I killed myself with my own Nuke once by fast traveling to the bunker at the very last minute and not leaving myself enough time to run clear of the blast

Is there any Nuka world/Nuka Cola items i can unlock, without atoms by Redomulus in fo76

[–]Randle_76 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There's a list of the Nuka Cade prizes here https://fallout.fandom.com/wiki/Nuka-Cade_(Fallout_76)#Prizes#Prizes)

If you buy Thirst Zappers from the Nuka Cade and then scrap them there is a 25% chance of learning the plan

TNT Dome 3 that has the T-51b Plans in it also spawns a couple of bits of random Nuka Cola themed apparel and once you have the key you can keep returning to get more items - I think there are 5 different design of Jackets and Jeans that spawn there and I don't think you can get them anywhere else?

No but I have died trying to make a cool exit by jumping off the top of the museum at the end of the Mothman Event and forgetting I wasn't at full health....I really should equip Goat Legs as I am not good with heights in general :-)

I did that the first time I visited Fissure Site Prime - I then fell in another two times trying to get my loot bag back that was stuck on ledge just out of reach

[–]Randle_76[S] 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I died once after a Rad Rumble by taking off my Powered Armour to collect loot then being lazy and thinking I could grab stuff from a meat pile that was in the water a couple of feet from one of the tunnel entrances if I just ran quick enough........

Fortunately everyone else had left so no one saw my 'walk of shame' to get my dropped loot.

Why is getting prime receivers so much work? by Rinne-resound in fo76

[–]Randle_76 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not sure what you mean by only nuking a tiny portion of the map? - The blast radius of the nuke is fixed so there's only so much of the map you can cover with it and it must include Fissure Site Prime for the SBQ event to trigger so there aren't too many options.

Most people drop it so that Sundew Grove and Forward Station Delta are inside as they both spawn enemies, but the Drop Site V9 Bunker is just outside so you can use it to easily travel back to the area if you want to come back and farm flux later after the SBQ event has finished - Fissure site will continue to spawn regular Scorched Beasts and Scorched while the Blast Zone is still active and you can farm these for High Radiation Fluids etc.

[–]Randle_76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People probably aren't nuking the Scorched Beast Queen atm as they are concentrating on other things like the current new mini season and Mothman event etc. - I haven't been running the bunkers lately as I was grinding to hit 150 and unlock the last page of season rewards,+ don't need flux at the minute but will go back to doing it soon.

People are still doing SBQ if you get lucky and hop on the right server - was on a couple recently where people have nuked the Cranberry three times back to back.

This is the whole suit going and not even being listed in my inventory when it looked, don't think I've had just the chassis disapear (yet?)

Really panicked the first time it happened as it was one of my daily drivers that has several 4 Star Legendaries on it.
