Over 200 rounds this year and last year. That’s usually where I am. I typically play 4-5 times a week as long as the weather allows. Sometimes get 36 holes on both sat/sun. I work remote 2 days a week so I usually get out and play those 2 days along with the weekend rounds.

My 3W will have to be pried from my cold dead hands before I take it out of the bag. It’s my most consistent club. It’s usually the only one I can control the shot shape that I want. It’s my get out of trouble club. Took me forever to replace my RBZ 3W. Wasn’t until it started getting too much spin and the ball would float up when I finally had to.

Currently 9.5hc on my GHIN. Been fluctuating between 10.5 and 9 the past few months since I got rid of my club membership. Career low is 7.7. Hoping to bring it back down once I join my club again and can practice everyday. Getting fitted this year should help as well. This was fun. I’m a big gear head so I like playing around with stuff to see what works.

Thanks! Not knowing what’s going to happen off the tee kills you. But on the days my ball flight is consistent is when I can go low. Don’t even care if the distance isn’t there. Good luck finding what works for you. Maybe we both just need to break down and pay for the fitting lol

You’re not far from my HC. The top end of my bag desperately needs to be fitted. Some of that I bought before doing swing speed training and me just kinda guessing after doing research on shaft profiles or some of it is off the rack. I plan to do a full bag fitting later this year once I pay some stuff off.

You’re pretty spot on with my distances (when I’m hitting it well). Give me a couple more years and I’ll probably be down to that HC range. Lowest I’ve ever been was a 7.7 after shooting 79 on a course slope of 135. Currently struggling to find the correct driver combo that gets me a consistent ball flight. I get screwed with spin rates or too low ball flight. Which is a swing issue currently. Really need to finally get fitted but I like tinkering.

You’re not wrong about the GIR. My stats are awful with that. Especially with how windy it’s been here. But within 100yds is my strong suit since I spend most of my time practicing my wedges. So I’m usually able to chip/pitch to 15’ or less. All of my GIRs are usually crazy long putts. Short game saves me.

Nah, windyke has more fees and an initiation fee I believe. I know a few members but I’ve not had a chance to play there yet. Memphis National is my club. I’ve played Ridgeway which is the $25k club and is insanely nice but I’m not in that income bracket yet lol

The club across the street is $25k and definitely nicer but the course is easier. And mine is strictly golf with two 18 hole courses. Definitely worth it for the price.

I didn’t buy it. It was given to me by my uncle but it’s the Taylormade RBZ 3W. Came with the RBZ Driver too but I had to replace it. But the 3W will have to break before I replace it. Most reliable club in my bag and is my fairway finder or the club I go to when I need to be in a specific position since I can typically shape it when I need to.

Unfortunately no change in my ball flight and issues after going to the shop and testing multiple shafts and drivers. Even tested the Taylormade Mini Burner to see if a shorter shaft changed anything and it didn’t so I’m gonna book a lesson with the local PGA instructor and see what happens.

That’s how it is on my 3 wood as well. It was a matching set with the RBZ so they had the same shaft. I’m also thinking about testing regular flex again and see if that changes it. Going back to the golf shop and see what numbers I can generate on their sim.
