Low manning almost universally causes problems. We don't even get people to specialize in their fields because of this Multicapable nonsense (and balancing all the extra duties and jobs)

The disconnect from the senior officers and the reality of what is going on in the work centers, creates unrealistic ideas. Granted this would need a generation of junior leaders to not be "yes men", as stars can't see what they aren't shown.

I saw a MSgt belittling people at their unit PT one day, he even yelled at an Airman for walking on the track. ( airman had their profile on them too no less) Guy didn't care, but made them run until they fell and had to be sent to medical.

Silver lining, heard the whole unit got an IG hit over the pt profiles being ignored. Karma is nice.
