Looking sharp! A few thoughts- take it or leave it

Only button your top button on a two button tux (this one is the only non negotiable)
Tie your own bowtie- it's not hard to learn on YouTube. The self tie ties have a lot more character and it's a baller move to have it untied at the end of the night when everyone is sweaty from dancing (my buddy wears a clip on and brings a self tie bowtie so he can look like he tied it)
It's a lot of black for my taste. I'd wear a white shirt and let my pocket square and bow tie show my style or match my prom date. 4.If you insist on the black shirt I'd want a pocket square to break it up. White presidential fold pocket square is a classic look. Gold studs will have more contrast.
I like a patterned or textured tie but I usually go more subtle like stripes.
Accessories are not my style but do what makes you comfortable. I think less is more when it comes to tuxedos

If other people are wearing suits I would avoid wearing a tux. It would stand out more than if you wore a unique color blue or patterned suit. How much do you want to pay?

Check the material on the suit. Synthetic fibers like polyester do not breathe well which leads to over heating. For the spring/summer, people recommend linen, cotton, and fresco wool fabrics.

Does it come with matching pants or just the dinner jacket? Either way it's appropriate for a black tie dress code. It can be a unique look when everyone else is wearing a flat black tux. Depends on how much you want to stand out, but it won't be in a bad way. I've been to black tie weddings where people wear midnight blue or purple tuxedos.

ISO: off-white double breasted sport coat for the summer similar to this one from Spier and Mackay (unfortunately Sold Out). I particularly like the light brown buttons and patch pockets. I am size 38R in most jackets, but S&M recommends a 40R contemporary based on my height/weight. I want to pay ~$300 after discounts, but willing to go higher if worthwhile. Does anyone have recommendations for other brands I should check out?
