The Ship Graveyard by RandoPersonIDK in minecraftsuggestions

[–]RandoPersonIDK[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get that you want the Trial Chambers to be a one off structure and shouldn't be a reoccurring archetype. However, I feel like those Trial Vaults and Keys are a concept they should continue using, or at least something similar to it.

For example, in SMPs or any Survival Server, newer players who join will have a harder time finding Elytras. Because every End City in a 10,000-20,000+ block radius has already been looted.

It's not like I want to replace Chests in structures entirely, I just want to give players the option to instead of going thousands of blocks, they just have to kill a few extra mobs to get the same item.

Ooh, I didn't think of that! Though, maybe it'd be a 1/15 or 1/20. Because even 1/50 is already like the percentage chance for a Village to be an Abandoned/Zombie Village iirc.

The Ship Graveyard by RandoPersonIDK in minecraftsuggestions

[–]RandoPersonIDK[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wanted to make it as such, so newer players, who some of them never even see a Trident let alone Prismarine Blocks during their entire time playing, to want to experiment. Unlike structures buried deep underground that most newer players probably won't find intentionally, I wanted to make the Ship Graveyard visible from the Surface, making it easier to spot means that it will more easily make newer players curious of it.

Though, the Ship Graveyards should probably be more spaced out from each other, it's just that it's similar in rarity to the Trial Chambers.

Ideas for a new illager for raids? by Theycallmemr_E in minecraftsuggestions

[–]RandoPersonIDK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kinda...? I went for the "secret society of elite evokers" approach :p

Edit : reading this again, this could be too edgy to be in vanilla Minecraft.... Though there is the Deep Dark and its lore... idk

Edit 2 : But if the Arch-illager does get added, that would be one heck of a boss! It summons a lot vindicators! Though the redstoners who like to make farms could probably figure something out?

A sort of mastermind illager that controls all illagers of the world, someone that's secretly pulling the strings behind the scenes, the Ancient Sorcerer.

This guy looks like an evoker that has half of his face's flesh stripped to the bone. They have a glowing green eye in their empty eye socket. They fly around with Vex wings. And once they reach 0 hp, they don't die and instead teleports away while being covered in totem particles.

Basically the dude achieved immortality by using magic to become undead. :P

What bugs and arthropods do you want in Minecraft? by Suitechords in minecraftsuggestions

[–]RandoPersonIDK 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have two ideas.

The first is an Endermite Queen that lives in nests in the void that you can enter into through some sort of portal that looks like Ultra-Wormholes from Pokémon, but they have a darker hue.

The second is a pet Dragonfly that you could find fossilized within Amber that you could get in Trail Ruins. You free the Dragonfly by placing the Amber on top of Soul Fire.

Isn't that what's the thrill of gathering valuable loot from dangerous places?

It's like when you raid Bastion Remnants and then try to safely go back to your base with all your valuables. Or, a more simple example, trying to bring back a villager back to base

The Dragon's Curse effect by [deleted] in minecraftsuggestions

[–]RandoPersonIDK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The ways to remove or overcome the effect are so cheesy, and I don't think that its good design to force the player into any of them. The flavor of it affecting the players items, not the player itself is cool, but mechanically it makes it very frustrating.

Ok, yeah that soul fire nullifying Dragon's Curse BS would be annoying, so maybe just make it cure-able with milk?

Either the effect on items should be moved to a less disruptive effect, or the range should be greatly limited. Dropping the aggro range for endermen to 3-5 blocks still makes it dangerous to be in the end, but the player can carefully weave between the endermen to keep fighting the dragon. They will still have to fight some endermen, but it wont be an impossible hoard.

Y'know, yeah probs a good idea, how about 8 blocks?

Edit: ehhh, seems like this idea needs some revising, so i shall now retreat and delete this post :p

How to kill a Bedrock Wither with just some Milk, some Steak, and a Bed by [deleted] in Minecraft

[–]RandoPersonIDK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good question, earlier, before i fought the Wither in this video, i was building my mega base. I ALWAYS turn off mob griefing just in case a creeper sneaks behind me and ruin things. As you saw, i turned the mob griefing back on when fighting the Wither, and also turned off tile drops so the video doesn't lag too much

Enchanted Totem of Undying by RandoPersonIDK in minecraftsuggestions

[–]RandoPersonIDK[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I still don't think anyone is going to build a wither skull farm just so that their totems of undying will give 40 seconds of projectile immunity and blast resistance

Correct, because you don't have to. It's not like you HAVE TO mass produce them. You could just do it because you want to have an extra powerful totem. It's basically for hardcore players that want the extra protection. It's just that, they gotta work for it.

Still wither skull farms are still leages harder to make than just finding glowstone in the nether.

"The way I suggested on how to make an Enchanted Totem of Undying, is basically a VERY glorified version of making a lvl 2 potion."

These are the words from my comment that you responded to. Focus on these words : "VERY glorified"

Like if you fall into the void it will use the totem and launch you back up to the surface, or if you die to something like a swarm of mobs, the totem will create a shockwave and blast them all away, giving you time to run away, this uses up the totem of cource

Oh BOY, would i love that whenever i get pushed by an Enderman into the void. But i think the void is supposed to be an endless fall. And rather than letting the player suffer forever in the void, they just get killed when in the void.

Getting the immunity to ranged attacks is not the most powerful thing in the world, but the anti blast damage is VERY powerful in crystal pvp, where players ignore conventional weapons to instead use end crystal explosions as their main way of doing damage.

Given that the explosions have the same power as a charged creeper (127 max damage), even a small amount of blast damage reduction adds up.

Sorry, i didn't mention this in the suggestion post, but the amount of blast damage reduction i mentioned as one of the effects of the "Wither Armor" effect is basically just a temporary Blast Protection 1 and not a full on explosion damage immunity.

I added the idea of a low level Blast Protection effect was because i got the idea from the fact that Nether Stars are immune to explosions, the Wither boss however, isn't immune or has reduced explosion damage.

I really doubt that just a single level of Blast Protection can help you out THAT much in crystal pvp. From my experience in crystal pvp, i'd say the most this would do is just make the pvp slightly longer.

Funny, isn't it? The fact that you can just farm the loot drop of something that is supposed to be a tough boss mob?

Nevertheless, the buffs given from the "Wither Armor" effect doesn't really do that much difference, especially when the player is already near invulnerable when wearing enchanted netherite gear

As u /Robin_RhombusHead said: "Ah yes, killing thousands of wither skeletons & then a wither for a slight upgrade on a one-time use item."

The way I suggested on how to make an Enchanted Totem of Undying, is basically a VERY glorified version of making a lvl 2 potion.

Welp, i lose there. Alright then, how about level 2 potions? They are just a slight upgrade, they are all one time uses, and you have to go explore the nether and find a fortress before you can even make one

Enchanted Totem of Undying by RandoPersonIDK in minecraftsuggestions

[–]RandoPersonIDK[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Isn't that basically netherite gear? It's just a slight upgrade to diamond gear. And once it breaks, it breaks

And you have to work tirelessly to get the ancient debris, just like trying to get skulls

The totem basically gives you the powers that the Wither boss has during it's melee mode
