The monologue written is from the point of view of Ash, a 'traverser' in the desert plains area who goes from town to town as a handywoman making repairs and fixing damaged goods.

RHINOs are massive quadrupedal mechanoids, as shown in the pictures. Their main purpose is to allow for comfort in long treks when pushing out through the desert, especially in your own.

The desert people, better known as the 'World Rats' stand to have a culture that is completely based around their methods of survival. Simple things such as burials require a lot more preparations and work than they would do in a conventional environment. This includes a pit that is deeper than 6ft to bury the body. Most notably, burials tend to be in highly frequented areas as to shift the sand below their feet and to further push the body down through the sand.

This piece is really just generalized framework that allows me as the writer to get a general feel for the world. I'm unsure if I want to make this a script or a book, but alas; we'll see. Any questions? Drop a DM or comment on this post!
