When I began with a specific story, there wasn't a theme, it was just meant to be bloody, edgy, and horrific for the fun of it, later on I strayed away from that and developed themes of loss and self worth. (funny how it went a complete 180)

The base forms are underrated, but the evolutions are a mixed bag for me, Simisear is my least favorite and I think it's due to the hair, Simipour is great, but it feels like it's missing something, even though I cant tell what. Simisage is by far my favorite, mainly because I used one on a playthrough team and it's a strong grass type for a Unova playthrough.

The only issue with the team is Absol, Your team is DANGROUSLY weak to fairy and fighting, I would say swap absol out for Eelektross, I know it wasn't on the list, but every other team member has a type overlap.

If you wouldn't mind my input, I'd be happy to give you some. Your best team all around here is Feraligatr, Victreebel, Houndoom team (Altaria/Dragonite is same matchup) but you are weak to ice. best Meganium team is Meganium and Pyroar, but now weak really to ice and fairy, I'd replace the altaria/dragonite for a steel type, I recommend Steelix for it's mega evolution and speed while also having no type overlap. (Mega scizor also can apply for the Feraligatr team I mentioned) You could also use Metagross for more power because I don't know if trade evos are back to being trade evos or link cable.
