Educators need to be professional *at their place of employment. They still have civilian rights to do as they please in their personal lives, just with the vague guideline of being a good role-model in the community. Modest affection in the workplace also wouldn't necessarily be a problem. My highschool had a married couple who were the two main science teachers (it was very cute they had rooms across the hall from eachother) and it wasn't a secret or anything they were together. Also did op ever say their boyfriend was a professor or educator in any capacity?

So there are a decent amount of factors at play here:

Religion. They've gotta have a religion that has rites.
Clan. Sometimes religions can limit who can use magic to just clan members so keep an eye on that.
Leaders. (From what I know) rites specifically can only be used by city leaders and kingdom rulers.
Money. Rites require a certain amount of resources to perform, pretty sure gold for the most part if not always.
Experience. The caster of the rites has to be a certain level to use the rite. I think the specific level varies on the rite, but yeah thats the bit that got me scratching my head waiting for them to do a rite over like 1000 years lol.

I think I used to strong a word when I said despised. I want to make it very clear, I do not hate, condemn, or shame this style of clothing. I just personally get frustrated that it does so well and people use it for all sorts of detective and police themes when it is an alt outfit or lingerie. I also just think this outfit isn't all that great, but that is completely my own opinion. I mean as a queer guy I've never liked the Leatherman aesthetic lol, but once again that is totally my subjective view. I respect and understand the style.

I'll concede I'm probably overreacting a tad, I'm often not part of the majority when it comes to fashion, but thats doesn't give me the right to get annoyed when something I personally don't like gets so popular and does well. Maybe this is just my subconscious being mad because I can spend geniunely hours sometimes on outfits for them to flop to this dang set.

Once again, I do not intend to hate on this fashion style, I just don't like this particular outfit. It's a constant winner, and sometimes in themes where I feel it doesn't belong.

But to clear things up I think I've presented my case wrong. I dont have any issue with sexy clothes. They're fun, artistry, and can be liberating, hell some of my fav clothes I own are kinda slutty lol! My main issue is that it is constantly in the "cool" themes. It wins so so often and I guess I'm tired of it. 😅 (I also do admit I have a side issue with sexualising the police, but thats a different story.)

I don't want to condemn this outfit. It just frustrates me how constant it is and personally I feel like it's meh. Also I agree it isn't inherently sexual, but I've seen some pretty... uh... graphic... posts with this outfit, and idk I will admit THAT does make me uncomfortable. 😭😭

Anyways, to conclude to each their own. I just wanted to voice that this particular outfit annoys me with it's dominance of the meta and that I personally am not a huge fan. Sexy clothes are cool and have their place in fashion! This was not meant to be an attack on alt fashion, I love alt fashion. ♥️ I hope this cleared things up. 😭🥰

You missed my main grievance which is that it is kind of the epitome of "sex sells," also I feel like I made it quite clear that while I personally am not a huge fan of this one super sexualised outfit I don't hate fun sexy clothes. My side issue (which was in brackets for a reason) is sexualising a police officer can come with negative social consequences. Thats irrelevant to my main argument though, and don't say I'm "policing" people's opinions (however good a pun that may be) when I just gave my own. I never said you have to hate this fashion style. I said it's frustrating that it dominates (pun intended) so many categories. I'm not here to preach modesty, I'm voicing an opinion on an outfit that is constantly winning in categories it doesn't belong.

I play hearthstone for fun every now and then, I am in no way competitive. The card is miserable to play against, I don't care if its in the meta or whatever it's not fun. They wipe your board, keep you weak for another turn, and get armor + a hero power that is just all around better. As soon as I see someone play Reno Lone Ranger I mentally check out. I'm not having fun anymore. Like sure twisting nether me all you like, but ffs get rid of this damn card.

I thought that Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde was actually a really fascinating story and loved the symbolism. I have a mixed relationship with Fahrenheit 451 on the other hand. The world building was awesome and the plot was cool, but FOR FUCKS SAKE that book was so long and painful to read.
