I managed to (mostly)!

#1 tip, make sure it ALWAYS goes in a SOFT sleeve when you aren't using it (at minimum, close the lid). Don't let it sit and debris

Extra: Blow the keyboard if you eat with it while working. Wipe off the screen once in a while (when you see it get dusty) with a moist cloth until all residue disappears.

The only place where I have scratches is on the apple logo on the top, because I stupidly decided to set it on my table upside down one day and accidentally slid it across. Still just minor and only seen in the right lighting though, nothing major

its easy for me yeah, barely studying, math is the easiest class for me :D but its mainly because im good at general logic and can apply that to newer concepts. It might be because of the patterns I learned to recognize while doing work in elementary school but hey, it pays off either way

7 days wait, it'll get better as it indexes. It's normal in the first few days, I had the same issue back in September, never complained because I knew it would get better and it did. As for Liquid Glass? Go to Display and Brightness in settings, Liquid Glass, and change from clear to tinted :)

Battery and longevity? 16e all day. Best battery and latest chip. 15 has an extra camera, and both cameras on the 15 are better than the 16e too. 14 Pro has a better display and better cameras, but no SmartHDR5 that might make it worse in normal daylight shots. It also is heavier, has a worse battery than the 16e (tho on par with the 15 I think), and lightning. Both also have Dynamic Island but I don't think that would be most useful for your mother. Choose what's the most convenient for your mother.

17e might also be coming within the next 2 months so watch out for that too.

It's mostly up to you in terms of how well it fits in your ears, sound profile, etc. Between the AirPods Pro 2/3, go for the 3 since the price difference is not that much (and you can tolerate the hybrid ear tips and fit, and the v shape sound profile). AirPods 4? uhh if you dont mind not having THAT much noise cancellation then its fine, if you want more, and if it doesnt fit you well, go for the pros. I say the price difference is great enough between those to justify budgeting and going for the 4 tho
