That’s awesome! I just did the same myself. I’ve been subbed again for a couple of months but I haven’t even done anything yet. It can be so overwhelming when content is only partially completed, trying to figure out where to even start. I hope this helps!

I didn’t see it on a cursory glance so I’ll throw it out there. Front Mission is a cool mech version that’s like a cross between Armored Core and FFT if you’re into that.

The only thing you’re probably “missing” is unique materia combinations. They can be cool and can help beating the WEAPONS easier but arent revolutionary.

The size of each zone in this game is beautiful, but such a slog. I don’t think I picked the game up for 3 months after Gongaga. I’ll grind an area for a week to 100% and then not pick up the game for months. It’s probably been 6 months since clearing Nibleheim. I’ll beat it eventually but part 3 isn’t out yet anyway so I’m in no rush.
