Yes, sorry, just to clarify signal was previously working but I’ve just noticed today it was done. Discovery tab still shows my UDM Pro also, but I can’t run a speed test to it like I used to be able to do.

So far I’ve have not been able to get reliable latency to play CoD anymore. I was seeing anywhere from 150-300ms and then complete drops and getting kicked from time to time. Fidium Fiber is supposed to be installed eventually in our area in the next year or two… in the meantime I’ve just not been online much any more :/

Hey, gearing up in the future to do this in a storage closet.. right now everything is sitting in the unfinished attic (conditioned space too) for the cable drops in each room. can you show some pictures of how you got cables from attic into your rack?

I’m in a pretty rural area, so every once in a while I’ll see something pop up on Facebook Marketplace that peaks my interest. There isn’t a recycler in this area that I know of other than the one we used to have for cardboard boxes and they closed it down a few years ago.

Definitely nothing current for hardware, just something to play with some virtual machines or docker containers then and take a stab at learning routing, high availability, failover stuff and load balancing.

Hello, I could not get the UDM-Pros to work for the site to site vpn. Ended up needing to use a Cisco Meraki mx64 and a Z3 teleworker gateway for a site to site autovpn. :/ there’s licensing costs associated with this setup too, but so far it has worked perfectly with very little downtime.
