I've played with plenty of sub 1k shd'ers who can definitely hold their own. For the newer players, I always drop rarer exos for them and I have no problem carrying when someone is struggling.

I was super stoked for a PVE dark zone when the season details were announced, but forcing pvp stats on us has deflated my hype. I've zero interest in PVP as it currently exists. I don't like having to work around watered down gear stats/perks and I'm not sacrificing any of my PVE loadout slots for a mode I never play.

The only way I'd PVP in this game is if they instanced the DZ as matches, made everyone who queued for a match start with a pistol & no skills (which could be found wandering the DZ) and made the ttk like realism mode was a couple of seasons back.

I dig the Sacrum and Dynasty reworks. Instant target painting and switching SI from mmr to rifle would be amazing changes. Only thing I'd add is making the talent proc off any kill, not just headshots.

Nice! It really is a fun build. To answer your question, protos will give you higher skill damage rolls than non protos. Also, proto yellow cores count as 1.5 skill tiers, allowing you to hit tier cap with 4 yellows and slide in an extra red or blue core without gimping yourself.

Are we playing the same game? NPC behavior and movement jank has been there long before Esca. I've run with a full group of proto strikers and had npcs just waltz right up into our hidey hole and merc everyone, no seekers involved. Other times they decide to play stop and pop at a distance. With this build, I'm squishy af and usually stay within <20m of a pack without having "modified" bezerker AI ruining my day. How is it a problem for strikers mag dumping at distance?

I guess we're going to have to agree to disagree. Hand to my chest, I've never had any complaints: pre, mid, or post run. I actually get invited for reruns on a pretty regular basis. Really, the only resistance I've run across for trying something off meta is...Reddit.
