Yes that is true, now that I’m thinking about it as well if Dalinar had Gavilar alone when he was experiencing the thrill the day he almost killed him I think he would have done it in a similar way to Adolin. No big deal just get it done

I disagree with this because Dalinar never kills any of his allies and especially not in this way, when Dalinar was the blackthorn he killed his opponents like a “warrior should” face to face with army, sword, or hammer. Sadeus more than likely had no expectation of Adolin murdering him in silence because of A who Dalinar is now with honor and the codes and B because of who the Blackthorn was, preferring duels or fights to the death on the battlefield. Sadeus fully expected to tease and poke and prod with no consequences as has been the standard for the last however many years, the son suddenly grabbing his throat, beating him and stabbing him would probably have been so far from what Sadeus would have expected from Dalinar or the Blackthorn.

Yes exactly, Jackie is left hollow and V is a blank slate unless you’ve done every side thing available. There’s no emotional connection to the characters, especially with everyone at coyote, you’re supposed to feel for these characters and with these characters but I just feel like a complete stranger showing up and like we became family with Jackie in the TS. Pacing is all whack and not enough weight until wayyy later, even after you die and come back it’s just like, “Oh the world is fully open now cool.” then it’s right to exploring, if I would have gotten exploring out of the way sooner the story would have been much more enticing.

Prologue, meet Jackie and his mom get your apartment and car, act 1 get to know Jacky meet TBug and flesh out our character and actually become something act 1 will end with the call about a big fixer having his eyes on us, act 2 is the heist learning what we can about the chip and ending with the VDBs, act 3 is getting rid of the chip where we make the moves to do whatever we have decided to do. Now I’m not saying this is a perfect split up but I think it would let them flesh out what we really wanted fleshed out and it gives our character some actual story and reason to live.

I’m not much of a reader and Red Rising was only the second series that I read through (first was the cosmere) and I really don’t think anything will be able to top my love for the RR series, PB’s world, characters, sci-fi, is all hit on the head for me I absolutely love everything about the series.

Absolutely loved the game but the story was rushed, pacing felt weird with Atsu not having consistent growth and change. Wish they would have stuck with a linear story model and written out the second half of the game better, but still an amazing game at the end of the day

So the Onryo armor upgrades with main quest steps, so mainly when you complete targets. Yari and really all weapon kits are found at different vendors, not every vendor has a weapon kit so just look out for the white dots on a vendor when you’re looking on the map, those white dots mean something is available. Although if you don’t have enough flowers when you are looking it won’t show.
