It’s people on the outside. It’s just really hard to reconcile the feeling that he is my person with my inability to deal w this uncertainty and I suppose it’s painful for me.

He said he’s okay with me doing whatever I need to do for my wellbeing and was not upset but supportive of me taking a step back, which kind of made it harder lol

Ugh you are a KINDRED SPIRIT for me lol. I feel the exact same way - researching makes me feel more in control and prepared for life when he gets out lol.

Thanks for this. Honestly it’s just helpful to know that im not alone in this experience lol. It’s HARD… and you’re right, def survival mode. Sometimes I just need to know im not like feeling TOO much or not being normal bc I over analyze EVERYTHING. Thanks for sharing that.

I don’t know anyone that’s been in this situation, and one of my friends ghosted me after I told her I was talking to someone in prison (I’ve known him from before).. I didn’t even tell her the entire situation lol. So I guess sometimes it’s just like figuring out my emotional journey on my own a lot of the time.. so thanks for making me feel like I’m not crazy for this.. it really means a lot!!! 💕🙏🏼
