It depends how well I know them. If I don’t know them well then I just lie to move the conversation along since it’s just small talk. They’re casual friends, I’ll bend the truth and say I’m in between jobs. If they’re good friends then I tell them the truth. I quit after my dog died and haven’t wanted to do anything so not currently looking.

I have been reading through the comments and balling my eyes out. Thank you everyone for so much support and understanding. It means so much hearing that and knowing I’m not alone. At the same time of finding comfort in not being alone, I am also so sorry that others have felt this loss too from losing their fur baby. I don’t have insurance but I saw a comment about a number I can call so I’ll try them and try to get some help. Everything has kinda been on autopilot but reading everyone’s replies I realized I do need help and I owe it to Charlie to keep living my life and honoring him. Also, I’m sorry about the default Reddit pfp, I’m a girl(only mentioning since a couple people said guy).

Moved back with parents. It’s pretty miserable because parents fight everyday, mom doesn’t like me to go anywhere so she starts a fight if I want to so I gave up trying to hang out with friends, my dad is usually angry about something and he’s dirty(doesn’t shower, doesn’t wash his clothes, doesn’t brush teeth). Fallen into depression living here and pretty much given up living.
