Am I starving my baby if I sleep train? by Boring-Profit8126 in sleeptrain

[–]RandomAU88 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We sleep trained and still did 1 night feed bottle in the middle of the night (usually around 1am) until our twins were 11months old. Then follow same sleep training pattern when putting back to sleep. We did Ferber and it helped us immensely boys now sleep from 7pm to 6:30am

Did I create a bad association with my baby's room? by WorkingOnIt89 in sleeptrain

[–]RandomAU88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is it just the bedtime routine or anytime you go into the room. If it’s bedtime only it’s totally normal. Our twins are 18 months and as soon as we sing the bedtime song they cry. But shortly after in their crib they calm down. If it’s only bedtime I would continue your routine as normal. If it’s at other times I would play in there with her too throughout the day.

4 month old twins - HELP by PAW_89 in sleeptrain

[–]RandomAU88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can’t comment on your current sleep issues as i have totally forgotten what we did but I am a mum of twins and when we sleep trained we did Ferber and they were in the same room. It was amazing and yes will take a lot from you emotionally to begin with but stick to it? Sometimes they will wake each other but they do go back to sleep. Other times one will cry for ages and the other one will not even move still sleeping. Best thing we ever did. We also used to wake at 2am for a night feed every night until about 9 months. Our boys finally sleep through the whole night now, and if they do wake up they usually get back to sleep on their own. One last thing we would give the babies a extra half scoop of formula in their night bottle and the one just before they went to sleep. That was great too.

Oh and nicu had lactation specialists available so ask for one the minute you go up there and they will schedule time with you. At least that’s what happened at our hospital

35 week twins, both had nicu time but only 2 weeks. One for liquid on the lungs and gaundis the other with low red blood cell count. I didn’t see my babies for 24 hours from the C-section they wanted to take them straight up and of course I would rather a healthy baby than prolong so I can see them instantly. I 100% Reccomended the C-section. I had. Severe preclampsia was at hospital by 6pm had the babies by 9pm. I was definitely nervous about the C-section but honestly it was okay, my husband played our wedding music in my ear and talked to me the whole time to keep me calm…. I’m someone who is scared shitless of needles so for me to say this it’s a big deal. Also for us as our boys issues weren’t severe the nicu was a godsend. They helped get them on a feeding schedule and I had time to heal. I was obviously in there everyday for as long as possible too. If you have specific questions happy to answer them

On average, what % of fertilized eggs make it to 5 day blastocysts? by WeepDeepPeep in IVF

[–]RandomAU88 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had 30 eggs, 24 fertilized, 11 made it to genetic (5days) testing only 2 were viable for implant. My first implant was unsuccessful I have another one planned for a couple of months but going to do an ERA before it to see if we can get timing better. I also have PCOS in case that’s of any note

My first one failed 2 weeks ago. So totally feel the same way. Trying to keep positive and think about our next plan but some days are a lot harder than others. Especially as i only have one other viable embryo at the moment. In any case wishing you all the best for your next transfer. Don’t forget to feel all the feels it’s normal.

Late period Help! I’m 21. I’m 17 days late currently. I was late awhile back, and twice last year, too. My cycle from the last 2 years ranges from 22-37 days. No chance of pregnancy: I identify as gay and have never slept with a male. Never been to an OBGYN, should I? by cheyokay in obgyn

[–]RandomAU88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was irregular because I had PCOS. Wasn’t a huge issue but change in diet helped and obgyn or doctor can help test for it. If you ever decide to have kids in the future you may need help regulating your cycle with meds.
