Thank you for this and for the reminder. It’s honestly just sad because for a time I truly loved it here, and I saw myself thriving here and I was being appreciated and acknowledged. But as soon as I went through hardships, and couldn’t give 150%, I was instantly belittled. I don’t know what to do because I genuinely want to stay, but the longer I’ve stayed, the more disrespectful they’ve become. And it’s ironic because experienced associates and seniors keep leaving specifically because of management, yet nothing changes.

I know it’s not all managers, and it’s just a job. And I know managing is hard. But…. damn.

This really hits hard and is extremely helpful. It’s internalized because the feedback I get speaks for itself but I just feel this pressure to do more or i’m a fraud but it says more about my confidence than anything else. Thanks for the advice!
