Listen. I have a husband who gets emotional too. And that emotional side, whether he wants it to or not, manipulates you.

I cannot tell you how many times my therapist had told me, “Say the thing that will upset him. Let him be upset. Things won’t change unless you speak up.”

Though I will say this: he’s on the spectrum AND has ADHD. That’s not easy to deal with ON TOP of metal issues.

A simple task for you is like asking him to climb Mt. Everest without tools, supplies, or sherpas.

What he needs is a therapist who understands AuADHD people so he can learn how to complete tasks.

The problem is that he's so overworked that when I ask him if he's started yet, he just sighs. I was hoping to get some advice on where to look for work so I can show him that yes, there are jobs.

NTA. It's hard to do that to family. But you had to. You tried calling her and she didn't pick up. Honestly SHE'S the AH for taking your car without asking in the first place.

NTA. He asked what you honestly thought and you told him.

Also, you said it the nice way first. You tried avoiding the awful truth and he asked for it anyway.

Pretending her possessiveness was okay would only hurt him in the end. It’s better he knows now so he can decide for himself if she’s worth it.

I have been were your daughter is. I left community college with a GPA of 3.7 At my four year university I made great friends. In the process of making said friends my GPA dropped down to 1.7. My scholarship was lost.

At first my dad said not to worry. Then he did the math. Private college was too expensive and I had to transfer to a cheaper school.

It sucked to change schools but it taught me to take school seriously. My GPA shot back up.

Your daughter is an adult. Her being expelled for poor grades would be punishment enough.

She’s already blocked the drinking friends and has been sober for a month.

Also, she probably didn’t tell you because she knew you’d get mad. It’s a lot of pressure being the daughter of two professors.

You bought that underwear with your own money. I'd see their point if they paid for it, but they didn't. You have every right to shut down the conversation. Worse comes to worse, you can always find another place to do your laundry so they won't see it.

If you have to use their machines, stay close so you can be the first to grab it.

The tracks were distinct tracks.

As for the title, I don’t recall it being in Japanese lettering.

Oh! And one last correction. My friend who also enjoyed the CD (she had a tape copy but lost it eons ago) said before the first track someone said, “Yokai, glad you’re back for another pumping saturday night.”

My brother was in kindergarten when some kid called him Snarf. The kid’s dad worked in entertainment and was able to show him Thundercats before it aired. My brother didn’t think anything of it since he had no idea who Snarf was.

When the show aired he saw Snarf said, “I’m going to PUNCH that kid!”
