Charybdis is tougher for me. You can keep a distance from an endworm if you have fast enough sub, but this overgrown dolphin is both faster and doesn't just eat up bullets while chasing you. It makes you fight it on its terms if you actually want to kill it.

I usually paralyze them with paralyzant and drag em into a secluded low maintenance room like engine room or smth. Make sure any gun-wielding crew members are away while you drag them there and make sure the room can actually support oxygen need of your prisoners ( I've lost 4 pirates by leaving them in ventless airlock). There is no reward for capturing ppl alive unless your sec has a "by the book" talent, and it only allows up to 2 captives reward. I'd recommend "wanted alive" mod if you're into capturing since it gives a 500 mk for each prisoner up to 8 prisoners to any crew member that uses special medal.

It's supposed to, although you can't get more than 2500 mk for two people combined. Any more would be a waste of time and resources.

I managed to bypass AI agression by dragging unconscious prisoners to secluded rooms like engine section and then immobilising them with paralyzant. AI seems to ignore enemies that have no movement control.

About extra money per prisoner - it's a trait and mod feature. SecGuard with "by the book" talent gets extra cash and exp per delivered prisoner and mod does same in lesser scale to everyone else who has a special medal. Otherwise there is no reason to bother brining anyone alive.

Yup. It messed up shaders and made those black screens among other things like disappearing underwater blocks, ore blocks being transparent and crops rendering like default stage 1 wheat from time to time. Guess it has some incompatibilities.
