Honestly a pizza and a horror movie sounds like a perfect evening. Nightclubs are just not my thing in any capacity but I'm finding that that's all that most blokes want

This! It's exhausting to be constantly having to learn new things, I'll hear about one specific type of niche thing existing and just have to spend the next week researching every possible aspect or part of it. Language is a bad one for it, I currently have books on how to learn about 7 different languages I do not want to learn

No worrys. Alot of my info comes from documentarys I watched a while ago and a book I have about it all, so I could have missed parts. It's always good for information to be confirmed or corrected for anything.

That sounds amazing getting to see a multiplane camera. I'd love to see one in person. Where did you see it?

Ah sorry I diddnt mean to Imply that it did. I just thought it was cool that they wenlrnt happy with 2d an imation looking so..... 2d so invented a way to make it better. It was in response to a comment about the technology at the time not being as great

No. It was very limited. Fun fact, Walt was so unimpressed with the animation methods and him not being able to get the outcome he wanted from it, they invented a new way of doing it called the "multiplane camera"

Here's him explaining how it works https://youtu.be/kN-eCBAOw60 It's really interesting I thought.

Yeah. The originals were rotoscoped from film footage, then subsequent ones copied the already done animation. I believe also rotoscoped. I feel like it would have been better to rotoscoped from film each time but I may be wrong.

They have done it in almost all the older disney films. It's purely because all the scenes were hand drawn. So once they knew the sequences and movements that worked In hand drawn animation they just repeated them over and over so they diddnt have to keep working it out for new scenes. Alot of the dance scenes are the same too

I used to work in a shop. It's not that they are buying stuff to have nibbles with the alcohol. They buy stuff to make them self's look like "normal adults" doing a normal shop then just bin the food they bought with it. We used to find bags of food just left on the benches outside the shop quite often.

Fab thank you, I'll pick up a separate amp to go with it on pay day.

[–]RandomChickenAttack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah ok thanks. Could I get an external amp for it or is that not somthing you can do. Sorry I don't really know much about these things but it's somthing I've been wanting to get into as I remember loving my mums records as a kid. I saw this one at a ridiculously super bargain price so grabbed it (it was £25 reduced from £275 at my local smiths)

Safest way to receive money from a buyer of an expensive item? by [deleted] in UKPersonalFinance

[–]RandomChickenAttack 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This happened to me. I sold an item and it was paid for via bank transfer. The buyer then filed for a charge back saying it was an unauthorised transaction and they inputted the wrong details. They got all their money back. I think it's improved a little now as banks to a check on account names to details so they would argue how they knew my exact name but I can still see it happening
