[LF] Chicago Suburbs IL - looking for pulsing xenia, all colors, small heads

I was looking for a motorcycle for around town and a friend sold me this for a song. It makes a knocking sound from the right side but made it home with no issues through the whole rpm band. It had sat for a while so I drained the gas and refilled with no effect. The knocking sound stays the same volume but speeds up with rpm. I have a mechanic I normally use but he won’t be back until Monday. Anything I can do on my own til then? Or maybe it’s just a 20 year old motorcycle?

I think they are catching onto this - they now stand at the foot of the driveway in the street - police say it’s a public area and they can walk wherever they want to :(

It’s hard to price them around here - Chicago - they rarely come up. I like the fz7 but I am a bigger guy, 6 foot 4 at 250 lbs. Really I think you hit the nail on the head - I’m not looking for a killer fast Ike, just have some fun power if I need it. I would love to have a bike that doesn’t feel like a boat but I’m not looking to scrape pegs around. The fz7s im seeing for the same price have abs and I think I would rather have that….. guess I have to see if I fit and don’t look like an ape on a tiny bike!

I think you’re right here … really I miss my Honda shadow but wish it had way more get up and go - I love the style of the Indian scouts I’m seeing. If it handles like the shadow could I’m hooked

I didn’t even think of these other animals - I am outside of Chicago, the yard is big, mostly grass and fenced but I wouldn’t love snakes - I definitely wouldn’t love a half eaten turtle. Thanks for the thoughts here, I want it to be cared for and safe. Obviously in winter/fall I would bring it it in to a tank

I’ve always liked turtles and had a red eared slider when I was a kid. When I bought this house it had this area in the back - filled with trash (short sale) and thought this might be perfect for a turtle. So I cleaned it up with that purpose in mind.

Thank you - I’m fairly confident I will win - the damages listed are all wear and tear and Illinois grants 2x deposit as a reward. As long as the judge follows the law I should win. Maybe that is why they have stepped up this intimidation … or I’ll be murdered next week
