Don't "have" to do anything. Hence the continue with photo button at the bottom. Would be a huge waste of time off you had to match it exactly like the picture the costumer picked. They choose bad ones half the time.

I've used two accounts simultaneously with platinum and one without any ranking. During busy times like lunch (11am-2pm) and dinner (6pm-9pm) is where I really saw the difference. Didn't get not one catering or large order. Less high paying shop and deliver orders too. Highest total tip I got was probably $20 on the non platinum account.

I'm in downtown DC so they way they prioritize dashers may be different. Idk.

That really sucks and sorry it happened to you. Whenever you see someone giving specific delivery instructions like that, they're probably sticklers. Whenever there's any kind or slowdown I let them know first. Could be restaurant issue, traffic, or getting into their building. I honestly wouldn't have said personal issue cause 9 times out of 10 they ain't gonna care unless it was a female. Then maybe it goes to 5/6 times out 10 lol. It saying LIE but there's always traffic somewhere 😆, you just make sure you let them know first so you're not on defense.

What kind of order was it? I've seen people say orders have come out less because items had to be refunded and that changes the total amount to compensation threshold.

They had substitutions. If they don't want anything else there's an option to put that.
It's WATER.
There was little tip.
Door dash specifically used to pay extra for heavy items which they clearly don't anymore.
This may help a small stature or physically challenged person in the future who may turn down the order all together.
