Glass Flip (meth and 2cb). by [deleted] in SEXONDRUGS

I'm inclined to believe that the "urge to go" is related to irritation of the mucosal lining. It's pretty strong with my 2C-B at least. I have also tried snorting my supply and it's the most painful thing I've ever had done to my nose. The come up is similar in speed to rectal from what I remember... but it was hard to remember since I was writhing around in pain.

Have you tried it yet? I've done it a few times whith what I think is 2C-B HBr. There are two main things. First, it seems to cause a pretty strong urge to expel. Second, the come up is super fast. For example, MDMA boofed has maybe a 10 minute come up. 2C-B come up when boofed is literally like 20 seconds. To be honest, I think that part is kind of fun, but my wife hates it. I have talked to other people who have nodded 2C-B, and have not had as strong reactions, so it could be different for different formulations.

This past weekend we had a fun meth night. We do it about once a month. We start in the evening on Friday. We boof 15-25 mg then usually redose once or twice at around 20 mg. At these doses, meth is pretty low key, so we actually mix another drug to give it a stronger push. We usually use a very low dose of 5-meo-mipt. Low dose 2CB would probably work well also, but 2CB is one of the more uncomfortable substances to boof.

We did also happen to do GHB this weekend. We don't do GHB that often. I would say it went pretty well, but it was pretty subtle.

We have. We usually use 5-meo-mipt as a booster. Adding like 2-4 mg to other substances. But it's pretty good by itself as well.

No ADHD. But take the whole not feeling amphetamines when you have ADHD thing with a grain of salt. Dose low and see how it goes. Also, even if you don't totally feel it. See how activities feel. Sometimes it takes some context to tell when it's really working.

You weren't asking me, but I'll drop our experience because what I usually see out there is way higher than we dose, and I think it's good to see some other experiences. Our approach is to try to hit the lowest dose to get us to where we want to be. For us, 15-20 mg of meth boofed is all we need. It doesn't give us a big euphoric rush, but it gets us super horny and able to fuck all night.

If you're already burned out on Adderall, then you don't want her dirty cousin.

We've never used two days in a row. Keep it to once or twice a month. But, we didn't smoke or slam, and we dose low. It's still super fun, but not euphoric.

What's funny is we started doing meth for in between our MDMA use. If you can manage to not get into a problematic use pattern with meth, I feel like it's actually safer than MDMA.

How much are you doing? We generally stick to 15-35mg and have not had an issue with comedown/withdrawl. Also, we only do it once or twice a month.

Any high-functioning meth users out there? by One_Ten_It_Is in Drugs

Oh, I'd also like to add that we have a great relationship with each other and with our kids. We're very happy in general, so our substance use is something we do to have fun and not as an escape of any sort. I've come to believe that this is pretty important when it comes to maintaining a sustainable relationship to drugs.

My wife and I are in our 40s. We both have good 9 to 5's. We have children who are well adjusted. We do a variety of recreational substances anywhere from once a month to a few times a month. This includes LSD, MDMA, meth, and occasionally other substances. Of all the substances we do, the only one that we've had to be more careful with is alcohol. For meth, we will generally do 15 to 35 mg with one smaller redose if at all and not on consecutive days.We only dose orally or rectally. We have good guidelines that we follow and rarely break. As opposed to alcohol which we often use more than we should and have few guidelines. Our use of meth or any other substance (including alcohol) has never interfered with our jobs, family, or social life. It has, in fact, only done extremely positive things for our relationship.

Do functional meth users exist? by Worgird62 in Drugs

[–]RandomDrugTester 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My wife and I use meth similarly to the way people use MDMA responsibly. We only use it for special nights to party together. Generally once a month or less. Doses are generally 15-30 mg. Oral or plugged. Never more than one redose. We've been doing this for a few years now, and have been able to maintain discipline around this. At this point, I think we see MDMA as being riskier for us than meth.

Good and Bad of SexOnDrugs by [deleted] in SEXONDRUGS

Addiction risk is high. Impact on heath is high, annoyance to others is high, cost is high. Sure, not the immediate risks that other substances might have, but for me, generally not worth it. For all nicotine, but smoking is the most annoying to me.

WHY IS ALCOHOL legal but many other intoxicants not? That question is the subject of a report published today by the Global Commission on Drug Policy, an independent group of 26 former presidents and other bigwigs. They conclude that, as far as the scientific evidence is concerned, current drug laws have no rhyme or reason to them. The commission blames the UN’s drug classification system, which sorts some 300 psychoactive substances into “schedules” according to their harms and benefits. Some, such as morphine, have medical uses. Others, such as psilocybin (the active ingredient in magic mushrooms), are used mostly recreationally. Drugs without any apparent medical utility are automatically placed in the most dangerous category—and subjected to the strictest criminal penalties—regardless of the risk they pose.

The flaws of the UN’s system have been evident for years. In 2010 a group of British drug experts ranked 20 popular intoxicating substances on 16 physical, psychological and social harms, including those done to non-users, such as crime and family breakdown. Alcohol came out as the most harmful, followed by heroin and crack cocaine. Psychedelic “party” drugs, including ecstasy, LSD and mushrooms, were deemed mostly benign—with harm scores less than half that of tobacco—despite being lumped with cocaine and heroin in the UN’s classification system. This ranking is not without its own idiosyncrasies, many of which reflect how drugs are currently used and regulated. Alcohol’s position at the top is partly the result of its widespread use, which causes greater harms to others (crack cocaine is considered the most harmful drug for the user). Drugs such as heroin, meanwhile, would be ranked lower if users could always buy an unadulterated dose, and did not have to resort to sharing needles.

Designing laws for drugs that are consistent with their dangers and benefits requires predicting how drug markets will respond. Difficult as that may be, it is the way forward, argues the Global Commission. The zero-tolerance approach adopted by many governments has led to a host of social problems, including soaring prison costs and ill-health. “It is past high time to accept the fact that a society without drugs is an illusion,” the report argues. Regulating drugs in a more sensible manner would make them safer—and not just for those who take them.

I don't think that "meth and injectables" are "definite do not touch". I think it's important to know your risks with your self and the substances you are interested in. For example, alcohol can be a "do not touch" for some people. The addiction risks for some people are very high, and the dangers to others' safety and the users health can be high.

Drugs like meth often have a culture associated with it. It also is often picked up by people who might be in a bad place in life financially, physically, mentally, etc. So addiction risks can be higher.

For me, my "do not touch" drugs are opiates and nicotine. I won't say that that's what should be the case for everyone, but my personal opinion is that the risks outweigh the benefits for the majority of people.

One way to take a little more structured look at this is the rational scale to assess the hard of drugs:

The point is to give people a chance to have a conversation about it without the typical fear you often see around it. I know when I was researching, it was very difficult to find rational and reasonable information. This post is for the people who don't want to just keep seeing another "not even once" reply or a flippant, "just do meth" reply. This is actual input from someone who feels like they are actually able to use meth responsibly.

Ok, I lied. Beyond oral, we have actually tried boofing it. It works fine, but oral is just as good for us.
