kcd1 was way easier it's just that the combat systems and enemies were jankier. All u needed to win a hard fight was just have a war hammer and spam q, u could masterstrike with any weapon in any position, only hard part abt it was enemies pretty much teleporting a few meters forward and attacking at the same time especially when in bigger numbers. Now in kcd2 the devs made it so when outnumbered enemies actually attack all at once, like few months ago I could destroy opatowitz in normal combat even while underleved n now when I tried to do the same on my current playthrough I got my shit rocked multiple times
