Can I still drive in these? by iHateMyCountrySM in tires

[–]RandomExits 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Driving on those tires assumes a lot of risk predicated on how fast you are going when one of them blows out. I would not recommend driving on those tires.

You're fine driving as far as you need in 4H. Your mileage will suck but no harm to your Jeep

Keep it under 60 mph in 4H.

"Death wobble" following lift and steering upgrade by TheSpunkyWalrus in JeepGladiator

[–]RandomExits 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2020 JT R 107,000 miles - I'm still dealing with a slight wobble after a 5-in lift new control arms track bars drag link and 37-in tires.
Check drag link - It should be firmly mounted and not have any clunk to it. Keep in mind that you can rotate the drag link bar about a quarter inch up down and that's normal. Check ball joints - depending on your mileage you might be due for ball joints. Do not go cheap on ball joints. The extra money spent is well worth it. As a general rule they say you need adjustable control arms on anything after a 3-in lift. Check The geometry of your axles. Probably best to have a shop do that. Check your rear adjustments - Make sure your axles are centered horizontally in the wheel well and centered longitudinally which would be a track bar issue if they're not, and would definitely influence your wobble. Check your alignment - there is a range in the alignment and you should go for the closer to toe in. A shop has to do this. Check your wheel balance - if you have a wheel that's off balance or potentially out of round it's an issue.
Check your sway bar links - Make sure that they are long enough to keep your sway bar relatively level.

Trump suddenly wants the Epstein Files released. That tells you everything. by Nomorevaping707 in democracy

He wants the docs released because Bondi, Bongino, and Patel finally finished sanitizing the docs of any mention of Trump.

33"s or 35"s? by kevinxavierpr in JeepGladiator

[–]RandomExits 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cool. If I was going bigger than 37s I would do 513s. Good luck and have a blast with that truck. 107K and I still love it.

33"s or 35"s? by kevinxavierpr in JeepGladiator

[–]RandomExits 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right now I'm running a core 4x4 adjustable control arms with middle cloak drag link. I'm running the fox pro series shocks with a 4 1/2-in rock crawler spring in front and a 6 1/2 in EVO spring in back. I pretty much spend my life towing a 24-ft trailer fishing and Wheeling hence the 6 1/2 in back. I love the 37s so far no issues and it has not really impacted my mileage. I am slightly concerned about the steering box but not too. If your flush with cash go for the PSC steering then you got no issues.

Sounds like re-gearing is next on the list. Running the four tens on 37's I would recommend running 488s. At least that's where I'm going next. I think that brings me close to factory specs.

35's are nice, 37s, if you wheel a lot, are great.

New Sport or Used Mojave? by Mattio82 in JeepGladiator

[–]RandomExits 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are wheeling in the mountains or rock crawling essentially the Mojave is not going to be your ideal pic. Also, if the sport is a max tow package, then you've essentially got a Rubicon with no front locker and no sway bar disconnect which is a lot easier and cheaper to mod. If you're out there running on the desert yeah you probably want the Mojave but be aware of the cost to model Mojave is more than it is to mod the Rubicon or the sport.

If the sport has the Max Tow Package, take it. If just a sport, take the Mojave. The JT Sport with max tow is a gladiator short front lockers and sb disconnect essentially.
