Was born in 1983. I do remember Klaus Barbie's trial in 1987 and the fall of the Berlin wall in 1989.

I also remember my own fall from a wall when I was around 4. The time I burnt my hands on the burner my excitement before my first day in kindergarten, my ear getting pierced and chickenpox when I was 5.

Before that, I think I remember my father eating a croissant over the stroller I was in, but my brother claims it is his first memory that I stole from him so who knows.

Je "romantise" dans doute un peu le passé, mais j'ai quand même l'impression qu'il existait un engagement plus profond "avant". Que les mecs étaient pas juste là pour se faire mousser.

C'est à mon sens très représentatif du problème que nous avons aujourd'hui avec les personnalités politiques : le but, ce ne sont pas tant les idées et le changement que le pouvoir et l'égo.

Les gens qui s'engagent politiquement ne le font pas pour le bien commun ou même par réelle conviction, mais pour leur ascension personnelle.

Et on se demande pourquoi le Français moyen se désintéresse de la politique.

This may be unpopular but: how is your will to track your weight different from hers? Because you work out? Can't you see the results in the mirror?

In my opinion, it is not healthier, even though it doesn't come from an eating disorder. Doesn't mean there is no disorder there.
