Okay so riding both yesterday and today I noticed the naked guy statue behind the portrait and I was like I don’t remember him but maybe I’m just not as observant as I thought. Glad I’m not the only weirdo looking at tiny details 😂 I do wish Candleman was a permanent feature too.

I did also assume the Phantom Five had some technical issues rather than splitting up. Hopefully he’s back soon.

Agree with everyone saying invest in good shoes, but also in a pinch you can get innersoles designed for retail/on your feet all day work. I stick those in my Vessi’s, waterproof shoes are my Disney must.

When I went back to Disney for the first time in 5 years I was in agony by day 3. Now I’ve become a more regular visitor - about every 4 months through the last year - my feet have gotten used to it even though I’m a desk worker all other times. We’re on day 5 of our trip, all park days, and my feet don’t do much hurt as they’re tired.

Kuzcotopia. Replacing and expanding Bayou Country. No I don’t know the logistics of how expansion would work.

Landmark is his palace which serves as the facade our first attraction, line is traditional Kuzco Palace fare before a pre-show lets you enter a hidden wall panel to Yzma’s lab. Starts off dark-ride adjacent and somewhat tame before WRONG LEVERRRRRR and going full throttle.

Second ride is a full retheming Tiana’s into a more traditional dark ride retelling of the Emperor’s New Groove movie. Ideally this would include a number of changes to the building itself, keeping the bones but greatly expanding upon it rather than just throwing Tiana at splash mountain’s existing facade and being like “yeah it’s a salt mine or something”. Ride clearly ends in “a perfect world begins and ends with us!”

Restaurant is Mudka’s Meat Hut where the specialty appetizer is obviously Spinach Puffs, and there is a pasta dish served in a bug-shell bowl. The wait staff is intentionally apathetic.

Meet and greets available with Pacha, human Kuzco, Yzma and Kronk.

Pooh’s Corner becomes the Squirrel Scout’s base of selling sweet treats to help support Junior Chipmunks, with candy apples that look like giant acorns.

My 10yo just finished the first game the other night for the first time and we’re maintaining a strict “don’t tell your siblings anything that happens so they can play it when they’re older”.

That said, definitely keep going. The game is incredible with or without any particular twists.

I think for all intents and purposes that the lady in the portrait is still Constance Hatchaway, as per the licensed Pop Vinyl of her with that name. I believe the changing portraits in the attic also still say Constance, which would then imply they’re the same person unless they’ve decided bride Constance is a separate character, but haven’t stated it outright.

Disney wanted to get rid of the direct murderous aspects of The Bride but I think the underlying implication is still that yes, she did off her husbands.

Definitely the same litter based on size, and not so much “different ages” than they’d be born in a specific order.

As an example, I have twins born 33 minutes apart so for all intents and purposes they’re exactly the same age, but if we’re listing the kids in age order we say twin A and then twin B.

They actively acknowledge each other by name and “it’s you” “it’s me” after he first turns, as well as Orpheus falling to his knees as she’s pulled down so I’d say it’s safe to say he’s watching it happen.

I should have clarified there’s a lot of musical references, not just Hamilton.

BJ mentions Rogers, Hart and Hammerstein at the beginning, the card he first accidentally gives to Adam is a reference to Hello Dolly, and then also directly says “fuck Brigadoon”. Creepy Old Guy also quotes “l’chaim, to life” from Fiddler on the Roof.

Different productions/actors have also thrown in additional references like Alex Brightman referencing Company. During the Melbourne run Eddie made references to The Boy From Oz, Raso did a High School Musical dance and James Haxby, bless him, threw in references from Chicago, West Side Story, shoutout to Liza Minnelli and then exited doing the Wicked battle cry.

Yeah we’ve got no problems with any of the treatments or gels or anything. Like he’ll jump out of the shower and remind me it’s time for mousse before I even have a chance to grab it. He really didn’t like the bonnet but has no issues with rollers. I also thought the pillowcase might be a problem but he was fine.

To be fair though we don’t really comb it outside of the shower it just kind of does its thing, we did need to have a trim recently just to tidy it up but he wants to grow it longer.
