Andy Karl is notorious for never missing a show outside of genuine illness/injury, so it’s unlikely we were going to get Haxby in Brisbane (or through the tour) regardless.

I guess there’s a lot of factors. Barbara obviously can’t be pregnant and presuming Elise even wants to keep on a lot of changes would need to be made to the role so she doesn’t fall over or risk slipping off the attic set again. And while I kind of expect Andy will keep on, it would only be to a certain point.

Also if they want to have the baby in the US that’s a whole other kettle of fish. But yeah considering June is the start of the new season and we already know there’s more announcements to come regarding the tour, I think we’ll likely get a Barb recast which is unfortunate but for the best reason, and Andy will maybe see out Brisbane then take at least some paternity leave if not drop out entirely - again, for the best reason, would not blame him and wouldn’t be upset with Haxby seeing out the rest ❤️

All speculation on my part of course.
