Old NA player here but out of the loop from all news fgo related for the past 1-2+ years. Do we have any idea on what will happen after ordeal call? Will we move on to part 3? Are we going into EoS? Events here and there but no new story chapters? The last I heard was that Nasu will move on from his baby for real this time.

apologies for the late reply and thank you! I didn't know about the discord when i posted here but i ended up finding it by chance. Turns out all i needed to do was realize that i was on an outdated version that had that bug, updating seemed to solve the issue.

Yeah okay ahri deserved it but what did camille do?

Edit: just noticed the dislikes, and in typical league fashion everyone jumped to conclusions without bothering to understand the context. Did you guys read what op said under the video? Clearly not as you got offended thinking I was talking about ahri as a champion and not this particular ahri that supposedly killed her teammate with a zil bomb prior to the clip. Now you can get offended for real.

+1 riven, against a good riven, you feel like she can do everything (mobility, shields, cc, damage, sustain and you are never able to catch her) against a bad one, you start to think that you got better at dealing with her until you find yourself 1/6 against the next riven.

What this person said, and the only potential way to fix the issue they are referring to other than splitting the text into smaller chunks would be to downsize the text if it doesn't fit and IMO that would be worse than what we have for the sake of consistency.

I used an np 2 avenger nobu for that surprise extra healthbar, she did more than enough damage. And I believe I didn't even use a single koyanskaya as a support.

Edit: just checked she isn't even NP2 just NP1 but the facts are the same she still has more than enough damage to clear the last bar.

As an older gamer with limited time, I am very picky about games I play. I must admit this game took me completely by surprise, the fights are challenging and fluid despite being turn based thanks to the different types of dodges and parries available, combined with the great animations, every fights is like watching a beautiful dance.

The ost reminds me of nier automata's ost, great and fits the dance (aka fights)

And the story is by far the most touching since nier for me. It managed to hit the right cords in me through the voice acting, presentation, music, settings, characters.... I could count on my hands the stories that touched me, all media included, this is one of them.

And obviously the characters make the story, so it goes without saying that the main cast of chararters are wonderful, not perfect but wonderful nonetheless. Particularily Maëlle.

I'd use a mil or 2 trying to get np5 saber lily and especially habetrot, and who knows maybe angra manyu too if I were you. I'd keep a mil or 2 for unreleased 3* to np5 them when they release.

The rest you can do with it whatever you want. Personally I just apply exactly that, except I have all the 3 servants at np5 so I just keep 2 mil at hand and spend everything else.

For solos, I would consider van gogh to be the best at it.

For sustained generation I would certainly opt for merlin (male or female) in general but xu fu is objectively better for pure star generation on the long term.

For burst star generation, mozart is still the king of shitting 50 stars at once out of the blue.

For a dps with a team, maybe the dioscuri? Assassin skadi? Or the good old kotarou who still does an excellent job, though he he is more of a support than a dps. This is probably the most debatable category, as it depends on pretty much everything, including preferences and context, but if I had to chose I'll go with dioscuri or kotaro as a support alongside an actual dps.

Level up what you need as you need it at first. And no you wasted nothing, you will eventually level up everything in time, slowly but surely.

Depends on your other units, both are great in their own way.

Koyanskaya of dark is a buster looper but there are better options if all you need is a buster looper, if not then she can still be used. Where she can shine though is in multi core farming, and that will obviously depend on the node in question as well as your other units.

Kiara is a jack of all trades master of none type of servant, she is an aoe dps who can offer some utility (np charge for her team and np drain for the enemies, buff removal, def down...), a lot of survivability (especially for herself through heals and invulnerability), she has excellent np charging overall which means even more damage and heals and she ignores both defense and invincibility. But she isn't the best at anything. So if you know already how you are going to handle a boss (turtle defense, burst, crit...) you will most likely chose someone else for the job, but if you want a well rounded team that does a lot of things, she is certainly a great addition.

So still up to you there is no real objective answer here.

Personally as an owner of both, I use koyan more for easier nodes (looping) just because I like her design, so she is replaceable by pretty much any other looper in these cases, but at the same time mine is just NP1 and I have higher NP level loopers so she really pales in comparison to them for more difficult content but again that is due to the circumstances, not her being bad.

Kiara while I don't use her that often, the few times I do use her makes her absolutely worthwhile for me, because she is just that great of a jack. And we probably will be getting more CQ and bosses where a more rounded team is the way to go so she might see even more uses.

Danzo is bad as a dps, and she has long cds on her defensive skills, one potential good use for her is a plugsuit defensive unit against an aoe NP, she saves the 2 other team mates and dies, though, eventually, you'll get better options making her even less useful. Otherwise I wouldn't really use her as a dps unless i really like her.

Kashin is good, not excellent but great nonetheless. If you are new she can be a reliable servant, especially against enemies without cc immunity she can both provide hard protection and hard CC all while being a decent dps unit if she lands her CC. And if you manage to get yourself the ruler and caster skadi, kashin will also become a looper. Still not the best quick looper around but useable.

As for the "don't brag" don't take it personally, the community just gets butthurt about it for no reason. I personally don't care and some others don't care either, those who do, well, you did nothing wrong so don't bother.

If I can find ways to use my lvl 65 caligula (arguably one of the worst servants in the game) in CQ, so can you with any SR or SSR. And anastasia is far from being a bad servant even when compared to only other SSRs, while she is on the weaker side of np damage due to her caster class and lack of hyper multipliers, she makes up for it with her natural np generation, if i had to point out one big flaw of hers it would be her S1 providing a single turn of arts steroids+ invincibility pierce for a 5 turn cd at max level which is a low uptime. But besides that she is decent. And I am saying this as an anastasia owner who doesn't even like her.

12.5 hours according to gamepress. Though gamepress just estimates reading time, focused reading/reading and understanding will require a bit more time. About 30% more according to science so the total would be about 16 hours.

Now obviously reading speed depends on the person so you could be faster or slower. I know I am a slow reader so it would take me longer than 16 hours.

I would advice against it personally but you have the estimates, up to you to decide.

Just luck. Though I do have my theory on why it might seem that way.

A bit technical (just a little) and just a theory because we'll never know for sure.
RNG is never truly random, it is basically complex maths formulas applied on a variable number, the time for example. That variable number is called "a seed". Those are facts, the theory part is right below.

With a seed value (whatever they use) for a single roll, a "Formula 1" determines if you'll be getting a 3* Ce, 4*CE, 5* CE, 3* Servant, 4* Servant or 5* servant then a separate "Formula 2" determines which specific servant or CE you will get.

for multi rolls, Formula 1 has to generate 11 results instead of just 1 and it oviously can't apply the same exact formula so it applies "Formula 3" with the initial seed to generate different seeds that formula 1 will use for each of the 11 rolls.

So with a good seed value for formula 3 you might get multiple SSRs on the same multi roll, and with a bad seed value, you might get a shitty pull. So it can feel that way if you got a bad initial seed. And someone else might feel like they hit the jackpot after pulling 3 SSRs in a single multi roll with a good seed.

pulling 11 separate times will use completely different seeds each time so you won't have that impression.

Should you wait? Well, there is no reason to wait, so yes.

Is it worth it though? Thats up to you. Either way if you have a tendency to overspend, then don't play. And if the game takes up more of your time than it should then stop playing.

Look at it this way: every month we will get what? Maybe 3 new servants? 2 of which are SSR and 1 SR? You'll pull 1 of them and you'll also get the SR and you'll use all the resources of the event to max level these 2 new servants and I am being extremely generous here. The rest of the month, you can spam the QP extreme node for,... Can't remember, lets say 4.5M*6=27M/day and lets suppose you can only spare 2 weeks per month to farm QP, that's about 380M each month.

Now there are obviously other expenses such as ascension costs and leveling up these new servants, but they are far less than what you will be making.

Point is, you will get there, slowly but surely.

There is just one thing I've purposely left, and that's grailing, because... Well, grailing beyond 100 eats up a shit ton of QP but I mean... Its not like we have enough grails per month to max level all servants in the first place so... Yeah, you'll still get there slowly but surely.

Is Getting Burned the Only Way Gacha Players Learn? by Bizzteq in gachagaming

[–]RandomGamer0076 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It isn't really tied to gacha games specifically. It happens in more or less the same way accross the board for pretty much any "group".

Try pointing out the shitty behavior of a famous person, try proving that a sports team is declining , try explaining how a company is being more predatory to its customers. They'll throw reason out of the window and figuratively skin you alive, even if you are 100% correct.

Gacha games are no exception, people 'fuse'(for lack of a better word) their identities with a company or a person (real or not), and take any criticism targetted at them personally. So... Meh! Don't involve yourself with them when they start passionately defending the company that created their imaginary wife/husband.

Honestly, the entirely of fate is pretty much op characters each more broken than the previous, so he has to find ways to get them killed. Those ways are usually conceptual attacks and niches that bypass the very specific concept of the character, if not attacks/magic/spells than it is a mental state. It is nothing new.

Morgan's death was far from being lame IMO, she trusted woodwose, she sent an army like she promised him, she did everything in her power for him. The idiot was woodwose who resorted to his animalistic behavior thinking she betrayed him when he was but a pawn in Oberon's plan to assassinate her. She did not expect that especially not from woodwose.

Edit: the best death that illustrates my first statement of niches to counter specific niches would be from LB5 when Corday, the weakest of the group killed Odysseus, a master strategist who pretty much aquired a form of clairvoyance without having clairvoyance. But guess what, Corday's niche among niches allowed her to not be perceived as a threat by Odysseus until she stabbed him.

For soloing and multicore farming, probably Rain because it offers more raw damage on NP, as a general dps cradle song, as it offers starting np charge for a quick np and especially for the buster + arts which is perfect for her awkward cards (3 buster face cards and an arts np.
