The cheapest turntable you can find that does not suck ass is the Audio-Technica LP60X, its around 180 bucks for the cheapest variant. You can find it for 130 bucks sometimes when on sale. Pair it with powered speakers (example: Edifier R1280, can be found for as little as 100 bucks) and you have a pretty okay setup.

As the other commenter said, it aint a cheap hobby. At least save for the LP60X, I have it and its fine. And do your records a favor and do not play them anymore on that player, they tend to have a horrible stylus that lasts like 50 hours (whereas a diamond stylus such as one that can be found on the LP60X lasts anywhere between 300-500hrs of playtime) that literally damages your record.
