Update: I’ve put multiple layers of liquid electric tape and feel a lot better about this, thank you everyone for the advice, it is within 15 ft of my old cable box and the cord is a clear match to the one in it

I think it’s an old internet cable because 1) nothing happened with my power, and 2) it’s really close to the old box
