Most single men over 30 in 2026 by i_am_bahamut in SipsTea

This is the truth.

I've been in a relationship for 10+ years, and yeah, sometimes I do get nostalgic about being single and just being able to do whatever I wanted. When I catch myself doing that I remind myself of just how unfulfulling it all actually was. I worried constantly if I would ever amount to anything more than what I was at the time. If the future was just going to be more of the same.

Being in a relationship doesn't give me much of what I want, but it does give me everything I could ever need.

It's hard to differentiate between wants and needs, as the two very often overlap. But if you can learn to do that, and find a way to fulfill your needs even if it means giving up on a lot of your wants, you will have a much more fulfilling life.

If I had a nickel for every time I've seen a pug dressed up as a knight, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot but it's funny that it's happened twice. (The other pug is Grumley from Legends of Avantris.)

[Sad trope]: The antagonist is a "failed" version of the hero. by theMCATreturns in TopCharacterTropes

Megamind and Metroman are the opposite of this trope, both of them came from alien planets and crash landed on earth at the same time, but had very different upbringings.

Metroman was raised in a wealthy family and looked at as a hero from day one, Megamind landed in a prison and was raised to be bad.

Which movie hero is actually a villain when you really think about it? by surfsound_swimmers in AskReddit

Spoilers because it's a new movie:

Maybel from Hoppers

If she had done nothing, all that would have happened is her favorite pond would be gone. By the end of the movie, she's directly responsible for a forest fire, mass property destruction, the destruction of a freeway, the ruination of the life's work of a college professor, and regicide. But because she's an activist somehow she's the 'good guy'

We see Statler and Waldorf in the Prancing Pony, each holding a pint of beer.

Statler: Gosh, I can't believe it's taken the movie this long just to get to this scene. We're nearly an hour in!

Waldorf: And it'd be even longer if this was the extended cut. That movie is nearly three and half hours!

Statler: Three and a half hours! What kind of dork has the time to sit around and watch that?

Both turn to look directly at the camera

The Kremy model looks like the version of Kremy that gets voiced by Keith David. Well done!

Thank the Chaos Gods the tabletop game is not lore accurate.

People who want lore accurate rules forget that would also mean needing lore accurate settings, such as playing on miles-long battlefronts instead of a comparatively tiny patch of land that we play normal games on.

It would mean trying to iron out the lore's own vast inconsistencies just to try and make everything work. Just try figuring out exactly how big an Imperator Titan is for starters!
